In this lab we've been asked to configure a basic campus network.
We need to configure the core 36 50 switch as a layer 3 switch with IP addresses as shown here for various
villains.
And we need to configure interview land routing the server in this topology is going to be in vlan 100.
P.S. 1 is going to be configured in VLAN 10.
P.S. 2 in VLAN 20.
And P.S. 3 in Vreeland 30 the access layer switches switch 1 switch 2 and switch 3 need to be configured
with a management IP address in VLAN one.
This is the IP address of switch 1 switch 2 and switch 3.
As mentioned we need to configure access ports and put P.S. 1 VLAN 10.
P.S. tune VLAN 20.
And P.S. 3 in VLAN 30.
And the server in vlan 100 and configure the pieces with IP addresses 10 1 10 10 10 1 2020 10 1 30 30.
And the server 10 1 100 100.
And then ensure that all devices can ping each other.
We need to configure ports between switches as trunks so these interfaces need to be configured as trunk
ports.
We need to make sure that peace is keeping each other and the server and we need to make sure that the
switches camping the pieces and the server you need to use Ada to the one Q chunking on the links between
the switches and implement other best practices such as setting the default gateways on your access
switches and anything else to make the topology work.
Can you do this download the attached packet tracer file and see if you can get this working by yourself
in the next video.
I'll show you how to configure this topology and get it working but why not try and do it yourself.
