Just woke up.

This is day 5 and tonights investigation

is gonna be really, really interesting
because we are heading out

to possibly the most interesting
place that we've been to so far.

This is saddlers farm it's
a privately owned house

that dates back to the early
1700's but the site it sits on

our research team and hq are convinced
that this is the site of malkin tower.

And it would make so
much sense because it lies

just outside of newchurch
on lower well head road,

and it sits at the very top of the
valley where the likes of lower

well head farm, bull hole farm,
tynedale farm all sit so it is at the

at the very epicentre
of the pendle witch story.

I'm really starting to feel run down
now, the journey so far has been crazy.

From night 1 everything
has just sort of

spiralled, last nights
investigation at newchurch

now that I've slept on it,

I still can't get my head
around what happened and

we need to go through the
footage today and find out

what exactly was said
on the sbox because

Charlie was convinced
that that said witch.

Whatever those

modern day witches did last night

affected things because the
change was so evident to see.

I've never been involved
in anything like that

before and it blew
my mind a little bit but

before they even started to conduct
it I said to Charlie off camera that

we don't let our imagination playtimes
with US no matter what happens but

the evidence that backed up
what they did was so clear to see.

And it's blown my mind.

The real key thing last night was
what happened with Dan and Charlie

and the 2 ladies they
worked with, the 2 local

witches in the cellar that
they were investigating

in the really old house erm...

And I know Charlies gotta go through the
footage but they are pretty convinced that

a growl, a dvp growl.

After the ritual that these ladies did,
god only knows what got conjured up.

Erm... and then they
got what they think

was the word witch
or a voice saying witch.

Over the sbox which,

if it is, if they review it and
it does say that then that

is absolutely bonkers and
that is just too coincidental.

Erm... so I'm really excited to
see what comes back from that.

granted permission now to investigate
saddlers farms that's gonna be tonight.

And saddlers farm
is another one of the

potential locations of
malkin tower and actually

hq and Dan, I thinkable the
evidence really supports this one

erm... so if it is, if this is the
true location of malkin tower

pretty, pretty good erm...

tonight, I absolutely need to go and drink a

lot of coffee and get shower and erm...

Our journey so far has
given US a fascinating

insight into this most
mysterious of locations.

And as a team, we are
starting to realise the magnitude

of paranormal phenomena
that exists around pendle hill.

The last 3 nights have
started to affect all of US and

these disturbing events are
beginning to play on our minds

is it possible that the overwhelming
atmosphere that surrounds pendle

hill and the presence of the
entities we have made contact with

are creating an affect on US?

We are about to
prepare for possibly the

biggest investigation
of our journey so far.

Two days ago whilst
conducting our pre investigation

walk around at the barn,
I received a call from hq

who believed they had found the exact
site of malkin tower, the famous home

of demdike and the device family,
where the good Friday meeting took place.

We had been granted access to this
historic location which is now privately

owned and although the exact site
of malkin tower may never be known,

our research team believe
this is the strongest possibility.

All the witches went out of the
house in their own shapes and

likenesses and they all, by
that they were fourth of the doors

were gotten on horseback, like unto
foals, some of one colour, some of another

and Preston's wife was
the last and when she got on

horseback, they all presently
vanished out of his sights.

And before their said parting
away, they all appointed

to meet at Preston's wife's
house that day, 12 months

at which time, Preston's wife
promised to make them a great feast.

And if they had occasion to
meet in the meantime then should

warning be given, they should
all meet upon romley's moor.

Saddlers farm, close to
the village of newchurch,

lies at the very heart of
the pendle witch story.

It's geographical position is of
extreme interest archeologists and it is

believed that this could be the
strongest possible site of malkin tower

which was destroyed shortly
after the executions in Lancaster.

The building that now occupies
this site was constructed in

the 1700's, some 100 years
after the pendle witch trials.

This area of pendle is a hotspot for
paranormal activity with the nearby forest

of pendle and faugh's quarry where it
believed old demdike met with her familiar,

a boy called tibb and
she sold her soul to him.

Just a few hundred yards away
lies bull hole farm where it is also said

that old demdike bewitched a cow
and performed some type of ritual.

It is an area steeped in mystery
and strange occurrences and as becki,

Emma and I arrive at saddlers farm,
we are greeted by the new owners

who are keen to learn
if this property truly does

lie on the site previously
occupied by malkin tower.

And if the strange paranormal occurrences
in this area have infiltrated their home.

I think this could be an interesting
location now this is supposed to

be one of the most possible sites
where malkin tower originally stood.

But... whether hats to
say we get activity or not

I don't know now, the
owners that we've spoke to

they have said that they have been witnessing
some activity in there, noises, uneasy feelings

that they've been having as if somethings watching
them and also they've mentioned that the dog

just seems to go crazy for no reason.

Erm... so

I've gotta go into it I
suppose with an open mind

and see what capture if
we do capture anything.

It's gonna be an interesting
one I'm looking forward to it erm...

But yeah I'll havre to see when
we get there and how the night goes.

There has been a lot of rumours where a
lot of investigators and also some of the

you know, the public
that live around here have

said that it is rumoured
that they do follow you.

Erm... attracted to you being
here and you know, almost as if

they're intrigued as to why we're
here and interested in US so...

It is quite possible that they could be
following US at the moment but until we actually

get you know, solid evidence to prove that
they, I don't think that we will know for sure.

Becki, Emma and I have been
working at saddlers farm where we

have gathered all the necessary
information ahead of our lockdown.

The current owners of
the location who have only

recently moved in, do not
wish to appear on camera.

But they have asked US
to provide answers as to

whether or not saddlers
farm truly is active.

As we finish our day shoot at this
extremely atmospheric location, we

reflect on what we have learnt, we
have no idea what awaits US that night.

Ok guys we have
just been for our pre

investigation walk
around in saddlers farm.

And the first thing that hit me as
soon as we walked through the door was

the overwhelming atmosphere in there,
I don't know whether you 2 felt that...

When we figured out that
we were gonna be doing

this place, when hq
called US and got this for US,

this was it for me, this was the spot
and just walking in there now has only

strengthened that claim that this
is gonna be a real hotspot I think.

This part of land here

matches everything that is
in the historical events, this

is the prime spot where
malkin tower could have stood.

Now you've gotta remember
that malkin tower was an old

dwelling of a place,
it was horrible really

and obviously this
was built in 1714 that

post dates the pendle
witch trials but malkin

tower was destroyed
when the were executed.

Just over there you've got tynedale
farm, you've got lower well head

farm, you've got bull hole farm,
these are all the key areas guys.

What are we thinking ahead of tonight?

I'm thinking that I really
hope that this delivers

on the way it feels.

Its not often you walk
into a location and you,

feel that theres something there and
you feel that heavy atmosphere but...

When you do get that it's, its not

like it's not unusual that
you then get a lot of activity.

of kit that we've got in here

Now speaking to the owners as well they
want to know whats here so they've obviously

been experiencing something but they
wanna know what's going on in their home

they only moved in in
January, February so...

the hotel and brief everyone

and prepare for this
incredible investigation.

So over the last couple of nights

things have started to become

very, very strange and there atmosphere

surrounding pendle hill is growing
ever stronger in my opinion and

I dunno whether it's
affecting the team but certainly

the activity levels are
really, really rising now and

I ams tarting to realise
why so many people

have mentioned about
the following aspect and

the way the entity's the
hauntings here are completely rare.

They're the most rare type of hauntings you
can get where as they can move around and

manifest in different locations, they're almost
attracted to our light if that makes sense?

I am starting to

think that

that is a strong possibility cos
over the last couple of nights

it's almost felt like we've
been followed, it's felt like

things have moved with US to these
different locations and they're very aware

that we are here and every time we
make the short drive back to pendle hill

its almost like they sense that we're
there and they immediately flock to US.

Is that the spirits of the pendle
witches? We've had no evidence at

all to suggest that but there is
definitely something going on and

last night in newchurch,

the odds of a male entity coming
through and saying witch are

a million to one, that's
just not something

I ever thought would
happen here erm...

It, it's blown my mind a little bit.

Tonight heading out to this private home,

this incredibly atmospheric
location, saddlers farm.

Is a huge step

on this journey, a huge, huge step because

this is a real hotspot, this
is the most possible site of

the once so famous malkin
tower, scene of the good Friday

meeting, home to Elizabeth
southerns and the device family.

Everything went on here,
I can't begin to tell you

how monumental this location is
because malkin tower is everything

to this story, its absolutely
everything to the pendle witch story.

The things that went on
in that small little dwelling,

are huge and

that's whats going on here today,
that's what makes this location so famous.

Ok guys, I know we're all shattered and this
journey has been absolutely incredible so

far but tonight is probably our most important
investigation of this journey so far.

We have been granted the very
special permission to investigate saddlers

farm, it's a privately owned farmhouse
dating back to the early 1700's now,

many of the locals and our research
team are convinced that this is

the spot of malkin tower, this
is it ok? Now it sits at that very

top point at the head of
lower well head farm, bull

hole farm, tynedale
farm so its in the key area.

Beck, Emma and I have been to view
it today and it's incredible isn't it?

Its a great, great location.

It, it really has the feeling, the
atmosphere is thick and strong,

it's right near the forest of
pendle, this is somewhere that,

when you think of the
hauntings of pendle hill, this is it.

Yeah definitely.

Definitely fits what you expect.

Definitely now the couple
who've recently moved

in, they only moved in
January, February time.

Right ok.

They want US to find out what's going
on in there ok? Now they don't know.

They don't know whats going
on but they feel the atmosphere

to and they have experienced
some paranormal occurrences so...

It's gonna be a really, really interesting
one this tonight and I think we hit this

with every bit of kit that we've got, split
off, this is the type of investigation

that we love, this is the one that
we really shine age these type of

investigations because we know how to
pull the most out of locations like this.

we'd heard we captured on the

I personally heard was witch.

its that clear it sounds like dvp.

something else that sounds like a woman.

does indeed sit on the site once
occupied by malkin tower, the home of

little did we know that we
were about to step into one

of the most mind blowing
investigations we have ever had.

Our approach would see
US split into different sections

of the house where we
would all use different methods

in an attempt to document
any paranormal occurrences.

Charlie rigged the entire
location with locked off

cameras and placed the
ovilus 5 in front of 1 in itc mode.

Becki and rox moved
upstairs to conduct the ethes

method as Emma and I
took position in the lounge.

We were monitored by the sls
camera which was mounted on

a tripod and were armed with
the paranormal puck device.

Charlie would attempt a lone vigil
in a strange attic room above the

kitchen, the current owners have
no idea what this room was used for

but with barred windows, it
certainly added to the atmosphere.

It was time to lockdown in saddlers farm.

Ok, so Emma and I are in the main lounge
which is at the very centre of this house.

Becki and rox are upstairs in one
of the back bedrooms conducting the

esthes method and Charlie is over
that far end up in the hatch by himself.

We have the paranormal puck device
with US we are gonna ask some questions

on that later we have also got the
sls camera on a tripod filming US.

We have no idea if thats
gonna be mapping anything

in as this session
unfolds ,what I will say

is this house is by far one of
the most atmospheric places

I have ever been to and so
far on this journey we haven't

done anywhere like this.

No, no this is something else its
like a really strong anxiety feeling

yeah, yeah, yeah.

Like really tight chest, a
bit struggling to breathe

and almost feel like
theres a lot of eyes on ya.

Anxiety, that is like the perfect
word for this situation is anxiety.

Now this is said to be the most
possible site of malkin tower and

I've purposely not let
that affect the way i'm

thinking about this and I
know you guys haven't either.

But a number of weird things have just
happened on the way up here, our radios our

walkie talkies started going through these
really weird frequency changes which is

so rare because we're in an
area where there is just nobody.

No it's empty, theres like
nothing around is there.

And this is, this is like so atmospheric up
here because we are on top of the valley,

down there you've got lower well head farm,
you've got bull hole farm its just absolutely

crazy

this house has got
such a crazy vibe to it.

It's so historical.

It's like it's got it's own character.

There's just a feeling like a real,

heavy feeling like you
can feel the history.

It is meant to be the
one place of malkin

tower though isn't
itout of all the places?

It's the one place really when you look
at the evidence of where malkin tower is

this is, this is the one,
this is really the one that

really I think and I know
that Dan definitely thinks

that this is the place and it
makes sense, this property

was built approximately
100 years after the trials

and when malkin tower
was supposedly demolished.

So it's a bit of a coincidence
how it's all linked together.

And obviously...

The owners are obviously
experiencing something. They're

just a young couple that
moved in 6 months ago and

I think she's hearing a
lot of things isn't she?

But even he, he's skeptical but even he's

admitted there's something weird going on.

And that for me, if you've got someone
who's quite skeptical but they, they

they admit that there is
something going on that they

can't explain, that to me is
usually a really good sign.

That theres something going on here.

room erm... thats above the kitchen now,

the owners have said that they
don't know what this room was used for

erm...

I dunno whether it was
used for storage or something

like that but it's quite
an interesting room now

they said they've
heard noises in this area,

and throughout the house
so I'm gonna do a quick

see whether I capture

anything now i'm
holding the edi meter

now this will pick up on
temperature change, emf detection

obviously footsteps but just
ignore this where the lights going off

atmospheric feeling in this house now

they said this is most likely to be

the malkin tower originally stood.

evidence to back that up

the battery was on 72% and there was
over 3 hours of memory left on the card.

that the camera has just cut out

and we continue with a paranormal

for the remainder of this session.

this is either a sheer, sheer coincidence

are the luckiest investigators ever or
