I find her actions
understandable

given the problems
she encountered at Jackson,

problems centered on a popular
group of cheerleaders

who were highly resistant
to authority.

These girls were literally given
carte blanche

to behave as they pleased
by their parents

and by the school
administration.

Regrettably, I found

that Jackson's principal,
lorene tippit, failed to juggle

two of the most important
responsibilities in her life...

Principal and mother.

And it is she who is accountable

for this situation
we find ourselves in today.
