those neighborhoods a city.

Call me a crazy optimist,

but I believe that if we could
get Chicago right,

we could get America right.

We are going to get
our hearts broken sometimes.

We lose people. We get hurt,
but we keep fighting.

We fight for our futures.

That is how neighborhoods
become a city,

and how a city becomes a family,

and I know better than most
if there was no better answer

to the darkness than to find
more family.
