of the Durham Street Raiders,

an all-white Highlandtown street gang.

were charged as juveniles

Roland Singletary,

He remembers Ed Danvers.

He recalls that out of the six boys
that were charged,

Ed Danvers was the only one to
apologise and try to make amends.

Danvers came to me
with full knowledge

that someone had gone to Central
Records to pull his juvie card.

Most likely working
on behalf of the Independent Counsel.

They're looking to trash him.

If he'd have backed away from that
case, this wouldn't have surfaced.

I believe in Ed Danvers for who he is,
not who he once might have been.

If we back him on this,
then he can do his job,

but if we react,
whatever dirt they want to throw on him,

it probably means his career.
