In this tutorial we will learn about assembly exploded view, about exploded view drawing

At first open the assembly for which you want to create exploded view.

After save viewport, here the scene will be saved as scene 1.

Click on exit.

Click on update.

It is a non-exploited view.

If you want to watch the exploded view, double click on this scene 1.

It will show the exploded view.

Click here to not display this message again.

Close and exit.

Then to create exploded view in drafting.

Click on start, mechanical design drafting.

Then select empty sheet.

Choose the desired paper size.

For me, it is ok.

Click on ok.

Then click here.

And select isometric view.

Then click on window.

Click on your assembly file.

Then click on this scene 1.

Then select one of the surface of the assembly.

And click outside.

Then you can drag it and place it at desired position.

Click on zoom fit.

Then to add the balloons and below material, click on window.

Select your assembly file.

Then click here on numbering.

Generate numbering.

Click on the product.

Then choose whether you want it in integer numbers or letters.

I want it in integer numbers.

Click on ok.

Then to define the below material format, click on analyze, below material.

Then click on this defined format.

Now this is the current format, quantitative part number, type, name, inclation and revision.

I don't want this format.

I want my own format, click on this defined formats.

Now from this all the atoms, I only need quantity.

Select all the other atoms, press shift and select.

Then click here to hide properties.

Then from this I need this number or serial number.

Click here on show properties.

And I will need component descriptions.

Click the component description and again click on show properties.

I need quantities below.

Click on the quantity.

Click here on the change order.

Click on component description.

Here is a number, quantities component description.

On this component description to be above, select the component description.

Click on change order and select the quantity.

And properties for recapitulation.

I don't need this, select all of them and remove it.

Remove all properties.

Now this is the correct format serial number description and quantity.

Right click on this part to click on properties.

Then next is to create the auto bill of material.

For that, click on insert generation bill of material, bill of material.

Click inside the view.

Then drag it and place it at desired position.

And zoom it.

Now here I want only bill of material.

I don't want this product one double click on this.

Again double click inside it.

And you can remove this product one.

Click on okay.

Then for this number, I want serial number double click on it and give serial number.

Okay.

Again click on this component description.

I want only description.

Okay.

And then for this serial number, I want it in the center.

Press first mouse button and drag the mouse and select all the items.

And from here you can give the alignment.

I want it in center for quantity also select the item.

Click here and click on center.

And I want this column to be smaller.

Double click.

Click here press first mouse button, hold it and drag the mouse and delete the mouse.

This way you can resize column or from here you can resize the roads.

Click outside.

Drag it and place it at desired position.

Then for balloon, I want to increase the size.

Select all the balloon.

Press control for multiple selection.

Right click and click on properties.

Then click on this font.

And from here you can increase the size.

Click on apply.

Okay.

Balloon size increase.

Then to give the sheet format, click here on edit, sheet background.

Then click on frame and title block.

Then select the type of title block you want.

Then click on create.

Click on apply.

And click on okay.

And from here you can double click and change the content.

Click on okay.

You can double click anywhere and change the content.

Then again click on edit working views.

Click on this view and drag it and place it inside the sheet.

Now this view is not fitting properly.

Inside the sheet, I will increase the sheet size.

Click on sheet 1 right click properties.

And we will take this A2 sheet size.

Apply.

Okay.

Then to change the format size, click on edit, sheet background.

Then click on frame and title block.

Click on resize, apply.

Okay.

Then click on edit working views and drag this view.

And drag this below material.

Now it is properly placed inside the sheet.

Then to print this sheet, click on file print.

Then from here select your printer.

I want to create a PDF file.

I will select this Adobe PDF.

Then click on this properties.

Click on advance and select the sheet size.

I want it to be a 4.

And from here I want it to be landscape.

Okay.

Then select this fit in page.

Click on okay.

Then give the name to the file.

Suppose I will keep drawing one save.

Give it time to create the PDF file.

And here is the PDF file that has been created.
