pick up a bale of hay.

- Well, what do you
need another lamp for?

- The den.

- Well, I didn't think we had
room for another lamp in there.

- Well, I'm going to make room.

I'm going to move the
lamp on the corner table

into the living room, and
move the one in the living

room to the upstairs hall,
and take the one in the hall

and put it in the boys' room.

- [chuckles] That's
some routine.

But what are you going to do
with the lamp in the boys'

room?

- Put that back in the den.

- Well, then you won't need
another one for the den.

- Oh, stop being so practical.

I don't know why I let you talk

having a sale.

I thought they

were going to make a country
club out of the Olson farm.

on a couple of walnuts.

That sounds like an

- Oh, no, Harriet,

- Well, I don't
remember exactly,

but the name is familiar.

See, all the leading golf pros
have deals with the sporting

goods companies.

And they have to be

won't put their names on them.

nice feel to it.

and a set for a Wally Dipple.

I could use some new skis.

- Well, I wish you

I think they had
some skis on sale.

I was chipping some walnuts
into a barrel up there.

- No wonder they were so cheap.

afternoon out at the sale.

- I like those gooseneck lamps.

- Well, you already have
one of those on your desk.

Dave, look, would you take
this and put it in the den?

And then take the lamp that's
in the den by the TV set

and put it in the upstairs Hall.

And take the lamp that's
in the upstairs hall

and put it in your
room, and bring

that lamp downstairs
here so I can try it out

in the living room.

- What's all that for, Mom?

- Well, because I
bought a new lamp.

- I think you'd better
sit down over here.

You've been shopping too long.

- Well, I phoned Doc, and
he's going to call Wally.

- Oh, what did he
say about the clubs?

- Oh, well, I didn't
tell him about the clubs.

I just asked him to
meet me out at the golf

club in about 15 minutes.

I said I had a little
surprise for him.

Boy, these clubs have a
wonderful feel to them.

I bet I'd take about
five strokes off my game.

- Aren't you glad you
drove out there with me?

- Yeah, I must admit I am.

- What did you say again, Mom?

This lamp goes in our bedroom,
and the lamp in our bedroom

goes in the upstairs hall?

- You got it all wrong, David.

This lamp goes in the living
room, and the lamp in the den

goes in our room.
- Never mind.

I'll do it myself.

- Oh, there he is.

- It didn't take you guys
long to get here, did it?

- No.

What's the big surprise?

- Take a look at these.

- Do you mean to say you
got us all the way out here

just to show us
some new golf clubs?

- That's only the beginning.

three beautiful clubs.

It was such a bargain,
I bought three sets.

- And actually, I expect you
to reimburse me, of course.

- Do you think we
could make a deal?

- Well, I can't
exchange them for skis,

but I'll tell you what I can do.

and try to sell them for you.

of Marilyn Monroe or Jayne

in the window with 'em?

You know, to kind of
attract a little attention?

- Oh, I've seen
that picture before.

clubs, the same ones Oz had.

- Yeah, and look at the price--

I'll bet our old pal is

We were kind of mean
to him yesterday.

You know, there's one thing

and that's friendship.

- We're going down to
the sporting goods store

and see if they
sold our clubs yet.

- I know, but we're kind
of anxious to get the skis.

And we can't get the skis
unless we get the money.

It's sort of a vicious circle.

- You know, Mom, it's kind
of like taking the lamp out

of the dining room and
putting it in the living room,

and taking the lamp
out of the living room

- Yes, I know, I know.

You know, I'll bet the man
up at the country store would

be glad to trade with you.

I know he's got skis up there.

- Do you really think so?

- Well, it's worth a try.

- Let's go down and get
the clubs from Mr. Wagner.

- Hey, remind me to get
my picture back, will you?

- You really belted that
one out there, Mr. Nelson.

- I think if you lengthen that
back swing a little, it'd help,

were asking me about them

- Well, I have my

the other two sets?

- Well, I gave those
to David and Ricky.

- You gave our clubs
to David and Ricky?

- Without any authorization?

- You said you didn't want them.

- Well, we changed our
mind when we found out

how much they were worth--

uh, uh, I mean, worth to you.

- Come on, Wally, before the
other sets are gone, too.

- Oh, your check, Dr. Williams.

- Oh, I don't have

- Not without written

- Oh, the two boys
took them back.

I just had them on consignment.

Harriet, they're just wonderful.

Even the golf pro remarked
how they improved my swing.

- Hi, Harriet.

Oh, hello, Oz.

- Oz.

- What do you guys want?

- Well, Oz, we've been worrying
about that lunch check.

After all, we did
promise to pay it.

- Yes, you did.
- How much was it?

- $0.95.

- Oh, Oz, I was just speaking
with Doc on the way over.

What wonderful, brilliant,

I got my name on practically

It's sort of a trademark.

Tommy Brannigan fishing poles

or Tommy Brannigan night shirts.

I got my name on everything
on here in the place.

- Well, no, ma'am,
that's a Martha Perkins.

- Well, don't get
excited about it, ma'am.

That was my wife's maiden name.
