that metal production on this site

goes all the way

when Margam Abbey was founded
here and iron smelting began.

Steel produced here
built the modern world.

It's Port Talbot steel on the roof
of the White House in America.

And this

is one of the first examples
of smelting on this site.

A sword which we unearthed and now
stands here for our protection.

Because there are those who say
that if the pilot light above us,
