It was an old fairy tale for
a new generation.

The princesses were the heroes.

I bet they're absolutely lovely.

The handsome prince, the bad guy.

Aah!

The heartthrob needed a stylist.

The breakout star?

Olaf?

I like to think it was this
devilishly good-looking snowman.

But you won't believe how it all
came to be.

Because the story of how we made "Frozen"
is as magical as the movie itself.

I'm not really a snowman.

See the resemblance?

Hi, folks. My real
name is Josh Gad.

And welcome to the legendary
Walt Disney animation studios.

Nice, long, sweeping
lines around her face.

This is all the painting here.

Do you know that 600 people worked for 2
1/2 years to bring Anna, Elsa, Kristoff,

and yours truly to life?

Fixer-upper!

I'm in love with the animators.

They're the true heroes of this
whole thing.

In creating a character in animation,
two people are really vital.

Did I say that out loud?

The voice actor and the
animator.

When she throws the crown.

They together make
the character.

You look beautiful.

We're gonna tell you all kinds
of things about how they did it.

But first, another
surprising detail.

"Frozen" almost didn't get made.

I'm guessing you don't have
much experience with heat.

Get ready for this...

It took 70 years to get this
movie into production.

The origin story of "Frozen" is "the
snow queen" by Hans Christian Andersen,

and Disney had been trying to develop
that story for many, many years.

Walt Disney dreamed of doing
it as long ago as 1937.

Well, how about the one we've always
wanted to do and never got around to?

But it never quite
happened, and eventually,

animated princess movies
just went out of style.

A lot of people felt that the world had
grown too cynical for a sincere fairy tale.

They said, "we're not
gonna make another one."

And so when Ed Catmull and I came in,
we go, "yeah, we're gonna change that.

We want to do this."

So we started out by bringing back hand-drawn
animation with "the princess and the frog."

Then they made "Tangled"....

And then went back to
tackling "The Snow Queen"...

This time, with a whole new name.

And voila!

This is so nice. Oh! I wish it
could be like this all the time.

Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel.

What power do you have to
stop this winter?

To stop me?

They're amazing with what they
brought to these characters.

There? Here?

Oh, are you sure? 'Cause I don't
think I'm supposed... oh.

Kristen brought this wonderful,
goofy, real girl character

that people can relate to because she
has her faults and everybody does,

so it really makes the character
come to life and become believable.

Oh! Hey!

I did look at Kristen's
recording sessions,

and what I got from it was just
some of the goofy things she'd do.

I mean, you look beautifuller.
Just by watching her expressions.

I kept pushing for her to
be quirkier and goofier

because that's how I felt
as a kid growing up.

I'm awkward. You're gorgeous.

- Wait, what?
- I sort of embraced having a

not-so-standard princess personality.

- I'm completely ordinary.
- That's right... she is.

Keep the thing the best way.

I really wanted to make
Anna different.

And I wanted her to be a role model
for little girls who were like me.

I love that she's a real girl.

She wakes up with messy hair,
with the hair in her mouth.

Yeah?

You're always recorded, so you can
come to work in your pajamas,

but someone is going
to view that tape.

So you have two cameras on
you at all times to catch,

like, itsy-bitsy imperceptible
movements of your face,

of your eyebrows, where
you use your hands.

It adds so much dimension
to these characters.

Becky Bresee also used another
actress to capture Anna herself.

I have a camera at my desk, and I shoot a
little movie of myself acting the scene out.

Witch, that's part of
the joy of my job.

This is what the reference was.

Sorry. I'm sorry.

I didn't...

We leave... now. Right now.

What I'm taking from this
are poses or expressions.

Like in this scene, I didn't quite
know where to put my hands.

I was uncomfortable.

I thought, "ooh, that would be good for the
fact that she is a little uncomfortable."

We leave now. Right now.

What it is, it's putting those
little truths into your scene,

that really makes the character come
to life a she becomes believable.

For the younger versions
of Anna and Elsa,

Becky also found inspiration
from her own family.

My daughters, some of the scenes with Anna
and Elsa in the beginning of the movie,

they acted some of those
scenes out for me.

What? No. No, no no, no.

Idina also brought this
wonderful vulnerability to Elsa.

When I was a kid, I had this voice,
and so I would hide it all the time,

so I completely related
to this character.

When Idina came to the studio to
visit, she talked to the animators.

They sat me down in front of
a group of about 80 of them,

which I thought it was
just gonna be three.

Maybe it was a little bit overwhelming
for her. She was a little bit nervous.

And I was thinking, "this is
kind of like Elsa."

But when Idina started singing.

♪ The past is in the past ♪

All of that changed.

You could see the power come out of her.
It was amazing.

Idina worked with animators to make
Elsa's singing feel realistic.

They wanted to know how I
sing, really.

What do I do when I breathe?

She talked about how when singing you
use your diaphragm. It's very subtle.

That's what this control does
right here.

You can kind of get the sense
that she's actually breathing.

It's a puppet, it's not real,

but you want to make sure that it feels like
she's taking in oxygen and she's breathing.

Idina talked to them, they added
it, and it just, like... bink!

It just... all of a sudden,
she seemed more real.

The writers, animators, and actors worked
together to find the voice of each character.

It's a palace made of ice!

And sometimes, the
odd reindeer, too.

It felt psychotic to be talking as
Kristoff and then also as Sven.

♪ Let's call it a night
good night ♪

I think Sven would probably
say to Kristoff.

"Kristoff, why are you trying to
such a tough guy?

You know you're in love with
Anna."

And then Kristoff would be like,
"no, I'm not in love with Anna.

What are you talking about?"

You know, just that sort of back and forth
makes you feel like a crazy person,

but it's so much fun.

And then there was this guy.

Hi, everyone. I'm Olaf.
And I like warm hugs.

Olaf is an animator's dream.

I really like this guy.

I mean, here's a character
that you can pull apart.

Man, am I out of shape!

Put back together in
different forms.

There was a lot we could do
with him.

Olaf's not Olaf without Josh Gad.

Yes.

- Yellow.
- No, not yellow. Yellow and snow?

[ Shudders ] No go.

Josh would go into that recording
booth and just put himself into it.

Hi. I am Olaf, and
I like warm hugs.

And for an extra flower,
I'm also a love expert.

And just the little movements and especially
his facial expressions were very helpful.

I don't have a skull or bones.

Like everyone else, Hyrum
found inspiration close to home.

- Say hi, Tim.
- Hi, Tim!

I actually looked to my
little boy Timmy at home,

to try and look at his little mannerisms and
the things that he did to animate Olaf,

and it led to things like really
keeping him light, he hops a lot.

We really tried to keep him in a
childlike feel to his character.

And Hyrum found even more inspiration
in the family scrapbook.

I am an Osmond.

There's a small tribute in
"Frozen" to my Uncle Donny.

It's during the "love is an open door" song,
as they're walking from the waterfall,

that big note where Hans
kind of belts it out.

♪ Door ♪

It was sort of the family joke to
kind of imitate them as they'd go...

♪ Eeeh ♪ you know, and do their big notes.

Donny Osmond wasn't the only
surprising source of inspiration.

John Lasseter, being an animator, he had
done this really funny thing imitating Olaf.

We were trying to describe
it to the animators,

and we couldn't get it, so we
caught him in the hallway,

and we're like, "just do it!
Just do it!"

It's that moment where Olaf
does the, "he's crazy."

He's crazy. They're just rocks.

Hey. Whoa. I don't even recognize you.
You've lost so much weight.

I'll distract him while you run.
Hi, Sven's family! Hi!

That's pretty much what
you see on the screen.

Yeah. So, a lot of, for us, the memories
are them, the people we worked with,

acting them out in front
of us and goofing off of.

Or..It's a lot of all their
personalities.

Yeah.

The directors and myself, we talked
to the animators in terms of emotion.

It's like you look at those faces
and that character is alive.

Coming up...

One thing you may not realize,

is just how personal the making
of this movie really was...

For almost everyone
who worked on it.

♪ 'Cause for the first
time in forever ♪

♪ I will be right here ♪

♪ it's just a bit of a
fixer-upper ♪

Like, did you know that the songwriters
are actually a husband-and-wife team

and that young princess Anna
is sung by their daughter?

Elsa?

[ Knock on door ]

♪ Do you want to
build a snowman ♪

♪ it doesn't have
to be a snowman ♪

Bobby and Kristen's daughter Katie did
the scratch voice for the little Anna,

and my daughter did the scratch
voice for the 9-year-old Anna.

♪ Do you want to build a
snowman ♪

We started saying what we really want is the
authenticity... these are authentic kids.

And there was a sweet vulnerability
and naivete and just purity,

and we wanted to capture that.

♪ It gets a little lonely
all these empty rooms ♪

♪ just watching the hours tick by ♪

Our kids inspired these
characters a lot,

and then to have them in playing
parts in it, it comes full circle.

And here's something else. Take
a look at these early sketches.

At first, Anna and Elsa weren't even sisters.

Anna was a peasant who journeyed to ask the
Ice Queen Elsa to freeze her broken heart.

But it just didn't feel right.

We were struggling. We were
struggling with the movie.

We were struggling with the emotional heart of
it and how do we feel for these characters.

The issue that kept coming up is, what do
Anna and Elsa have to do with each other?

Why does it matter?
And how could it matter more?

And someone in the room said,
"what if they were sisters?"

We don't even know who
came up with the idea,

and no one wants to claim it.
I don't know why,

'cause it's a great idea. But
everything started to click.

And once again, it all got
very personal.

Elsa, psst.

I adored my sisters
when I was growing up.

Elsa!

And I could definitely relate
to wanting to be closer to them

than they wanted to be to me
when I was the little runt.

- Wake up, wake up, wake up!
- Anna, go back to sleep.

[ Sighs ]

I just can't.

The sky's awake, so I'm awake,
so we have to play!

Come on, come on, come on!

[ Both laughing ]

I have a younger sister. She's three
years younger than me. Her name's Cara.

We're super-close.

Do the magic! Do the magic!

I was so super-protective of
her, like an older sister.

I used to get up in people's faces
if anybody was mean to my sister.

- Ready?
- Uh-huh.

I would compromise or hide any secret if
it meant saving my sister in some way.

[ Anna squealing and laughing ]

Queen Elsa of Arendelle!

There's a built-in hierarchy when you have
siblings, and the older ones are always cool.

Princess Anna of Arendelle!

The younger ones just
so badly want approval.

I don't think I'm supposed to...
Oh. Okay.

Hi. "Hi" me?

Oh. Um, hi.

- You look beautiful.
- Thank you.

I mean, you look beautifuller.
I mean... not fuller.

You don't look fuller,
but more beautiful.

[ Chuckles ]

Thank you.

It's a pretty monumental
moment when your older sister...

I know this 'cause I have two
older sisters...

Gives you an adult compliment
and says, "you look beautiful."

I wish it could be like this
all the time.

Me too.

But it can't. It can't.

That eager-to-please
little-sister feeling led to,

what would ultimately become one of
the film's most beloved moments.

Do you want to build a snowman?

And would you believe that my favorite song
almost didn't even make the final cut?

[ Knocks "shave and a
haircut" rhythm ]

♪ Do you want to
build a snowman ♪

♪ come on let's go and play ♪

♪ I never see you anymore ♪

♪ come out the door it's
like you have gone away ♪

There was a screening as late as February
of 2013, so not that far from release.

And although the individual
parts were strong and working,

it just didn't add up.

[ Both laughing ]

Do the magic! Do the magic!

"Do you want to bud a
snowman?" Had been taken out.

[ Knocks "shave and a haircut" rhythm ]

♪ Do you want to build a snowman
or ride ourike around the hall ♪

♪ I think some
company is overdue ♪

♪ I started talking to the
pictures on the wall ♪

Hang in there Joan

we'd try and sneak it back in, and
it was out, it was in, it was out,

and then there was sort of a
groundswell here at Disney,

where the rank-and-file
people wrote e-mails saying,

"why is it out? Put it back in."

Elsa?

♪ Please I know you're in there ♪

It was not put back in the film until the
witching hour before we released it.

♪ I'm right out here for you ♪

♪ just let me in ♪
♪ we only have each other ♪

Thankfully, at the very last moment, someone
made the call of putting it back in,

'cause I think it's one of
the best songs in the movie.

♪ Do you want to
build a snowman ♪

That was a very exciting day.

People often do ask me if I
want to build a snowman or sing

"would you like to
build a snowman?"

And I always respond with "yes,"

so I think I have a lot of
snowmen to build. A lot.

Next stop... the real Arendelle.

Where do you think it is?

For the answers to these
and other questions,

the director is live-tweeting
right now at "ask Frozen".

While the animators were
creating the characters,

the design team needed
to create Arendelle.

♪

The story is telling us that these
characters need to live in a world,

that is extremely
vast and grand.

So that eventually led
me to center on Norway.

The first thing that
I told everybody is,

"get on a plane and
go to Norway."

Next stop... Norway.

They found what they
were looking for.

Amid the snowy Hamlets and
towering Norwegian fjords.

I settled on the fjords,

because I knew that would be a stupendous
setting to plant a kingdom at the foot of.

When teams go off to research,

the thing I tell them is, "open your ears,
open your mind, and open your heart."

You don't know what you're
gonna find when you go.

I never knew winter
could be so beautiful!

Everything is so specific, from every
icicle to everything someone's wearing.

When there's, like, a huge
wind and things get Frozen

and how icicles go sideways
and how snow moves.

When you see the movie, you
really get a sense of location,

and it's because of all of the effort and
research and homework that the animators did.

One of the most important things they noticed
was a Norwegian pattern called "rosemaling".

Something very, very small, but it loomed
very large in the world of "Frozen",

and that is the
idea of rosemaling.

You'll find this
everywhere in Norway.

On columns.

Ceilings.

Dresses.

We used this in our castle, on
our characters.

Rosemaling was the starting point for a
lot of the language of Elsa's magic.

All elements share the same language, and
that's how you help to create a total world.

Snow. It had to be snow.

One of the big challenges for
making snow in this film

is that we were gonna
have a lot of it,

and that's something that people hadn't
really done in an animated film.

This is some of our early tests
with our developers.

We wanted snow to be like a character
in the film, and, for the first time,

have characters actually interacting with
it and to have it react to them, as well.

[ Gasps, grunts ]

We had to really understand how the snow moves
'cause we're all from Southern California.

Production sent us to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

And for two days, we just
played in the snow.

We'd build snowmen.

We'd jump, slide.

There's a moment in the film where
Olaf's sliding down the hill.

I actually slid down a hill
as quickly as I could.

[ Laughs ]

And just things like that really
helped us out with Olaf.

We made it!

The costume department
made us a huge skirt.

I got to have that on while we
were tromping around in the snow.

I even had to wear the dress.

I can neither confirm nor deny
whether I put the skirt on.

[Laughs]

There was one meeting that
we had with John Lasseter.

We put up the ideas for what this
ice palace could, would, should be.

And John thought, "well, great, but I
think you folks are missing the point."

A snowflake has got six sides, and
that became the focal point of it.

One thing that really helped
us was this idea that we were

going to use the snowflake as a
plan for the ice palace.

Once she kind of stomps her foot.

It does branch and plate
throughout the whole creation.

We had about 45 different, separate things
happening over the course of that one shot.

Putting in the rosemaling with the curls and
then having another curl come off of that

curl and sort of piece everything
together like a big puzzle.

We were able to have her trigger something
that we could follow up the wall,

it would end with the ceiling,

and then using the chandelier build
to get us back down to the ground.

It took about nine months to pull that off.

- ♪ The past is in the past ♪

The amazing story
behind this hit song.

♪ Let it go let it go ♪

- All ashore!
- Welcome to Arendelle!

Even as the kingdom of
Arendelle was coming together.

Beautiful!

Our story was not.

The very heart of the problem
seemed to be Elsa.

When I first came on, they had made her
this blue character with spiky hair.

It seemed like she was just
your quintessential evil queen.

She had a coat made out
of living weasels,

and all the weasels would crawl up
her and make this living fur coat.

They had done a great job of
creating a classic evil queen.

And Disney's done that,
and they're good at it,

but it's like, "can
we say something new?

" Fear will be your enemy".

And Elsa was starting to remind
John Lasseter of somebody he knew.

We'll protect her.

My son, Sam, was diagnosed with
diabetes when he was 10 years old.

And this little guy was being poked,
needle after needle after needle.

I'm scared!

And he asked, "why me?"

Calm down.

No! Don't touch me!

Please. I don't
want to hurt you.

And I thought of Sam as
I was thinking of Elsa.

She was born with this.

Why is she a villain?

- They found his answer in a song.
- Smile, guys.

At the time Elsa was a villain,

she was still probably coming down the
mountain later with her army of evil snowmen

to terrorize the village.

So we were still writing
a villain song.

And we started getting into the
head space of what you'd feel like

if you were that isolated.

Lock the Gates.

We'll reduce the staff,

we will limit her
contact with people

and keep her powers
hidden from everyone.

And we knew in this moment

that she'd go through a
transformation from repressed

to letting her powers out and sort
of trying to get away from society

and be who she really was.

And then Bobby came up with this vamp.

- Do you want to play the vamp?
- Sure.

[ "Let it go" intro plays ]

And sometimes when we're
working in our little studio,

he'll play something that just sends
chills up my arms and all over my body,

and then I'm like "yes!"

[ Music continues ]

And once we kind of started
writing from that,

from the reality of that, we found
that we had something to say.

- We got this hook.
- Kristen got the hook "let it go."

Because she had to let go of

everything she's ever known,

and yet it was this
moment of exhilaration

where she could finally let go of
all she'd been holding inside.

Ready?

Yeah.

[ Intro plays ]

So, I'm up on a mountain, the
wind is blowing.

- In Prospect Park.
- And I'm blond.

[ Music continues ]

♪ The snow glows white on
the mountain tonight ♪

♪ not a footprint to be seen ♪

♪ a kingdom of isolation and it
looks like I'm the queen ♪

That's Bobby's line.

♪ The wind is howling like
the swirling storm inside ♪

♪ couldn't keep it in
heaven knows I tried ♪

And the song wrote itself very quickly.
It was a day and a half, maybe two days.

♪ Be the good girl you
always have to be ♪

♪ conceal don't feel ♪

♪ don't let them know ♪
♪ well now they know ♪

♪ let it go let it go ♪

Can't hold back anymore ♪

We sent the demo out,
and everyone went,

"oh, my gosh, that's great. Shoot.
We have to rewrite the whole thing."

I don't think they said
"shoot," actually.

I think it was a little more
four-letter than that.

I went, "oh, God. I have to
rewrite the entire movie again."

The first time I heard "let
it go, " I thought, " wow.

This isn't just the funny
sort of evil queen song.

This was a real soulful,
emotional, vulnerable song.

With all these emotions
of my son, Sam,

kind of in me and I heard this
song, I knew this was it.

This is exactly what
this character needed.

And then, to my beautiful surprise, she
was never, ever the Nemesis, really.

She was just the misunderstood young
woman that we can all relate to.

That song came at the right time, and it
fundamentally changed the entire movie.

♪ Don't let them in
don't let them see ♪

When the song was written, that sort
of liberated the whole character

in that it was so much
more about a girl's...

A young woman's battle and challenges
to find herself and who she was.

♪ Make one wrong move and
everyone will know ♪

We had so much more fun making her this
complicated, kind of tortured hero.

Enough!

Elsa.

Now that they'd figured
out who Elsa really was,

the production team decided
that her "let it go" moment

would be a triumphant,
spectacular transformation.

So, at the beginning, you can
see how she walks up the snow.

There's a certain way that she
moves.

I feel for Elsa. I feel for her journey.
I feel for what she's been through.

We wanted really to see the progression
through that song.

She's experimenting
with her magic.

She hasn't used it in so long.

- ♪ Can't hold me back anymore ♪
- so she's playing with it now.

She starts trying her powers out for the
first time and really letting it loose,

letting it go and just doing it.
And you see her.

♪ Here I stand ♪

Become empowered and say, "you know what?
I like who I am."

♪ L the storm rage on ♪

"And if no one else can understand me, fine.
I'll live by myself."

"But I like who I am, and
I'm not going back."

♪ I'm never going back ♪

Letting your hair down, there's
a meaning behind that, even.

♪ Let it go let it go ♪

♪ and I'll rise like
the break of dawn ♪

She speaks to many
people in that moment

where she's not going to be
controlled by this fear.

♪ Here I stand ♪

And I think when you
finally have that moment,

that "I'm going to
be my truest self",

it's so liberating.

♪ Let the storm rage on the cold
never bothered me any way ♪

Ahead... "Frozen" mania.

And the director is live-tweeting
right now at ♪ askFrozen.

Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh!
I'm gonna cry!

How did a movie that
took 70 years to make it

to the big screen inspire
such "Frozen" hysteria,

bursting through
the stratosphere.

This is amazing!

To become the number-one
animated film of all time?

I cannot wait for the generation of kids
to grow up so they can tell us why,

'cause I'd love to know why.

The only Frozen heart around
heres yours

for one thing.

Aah!

We really took the classic Disney fairy
tale and kind of flipped it on its head.

I always called it kind of the
anti-Disney princess movie.

A lot of other movies you see, you're just
waiting for the girl to meet the prince,

and that's the "key" to their life.
News flash... that's not the case.

At all.

Okay, here we go.

♪ I know it's crazy ♪

♪ we finish each other's ♪

♪ sandwiches ♪

That's what I was going to say.

"Frozen" has inspired countless
father/daughter duets online.

♪ Our mental sink ronization ♪
♪ can have but one explanation ♪

- Can I say something crazy
- will you marry me

no, you're my dad!

Pint-size interpretations of the
songs have become viral sensations.

I think the one that touches me the
most is when this little girl,

her mom is removing
her splinter.

And she is singing "do you
want to be build a snowman"

everybody has their own personal
sense of accomplishment.

For me personally, it's that.

♪ Let it go let it go ♪

But it's "let it go" that has become
a full-on cultural touchstone.

I'll never forget the
first one I heard.

The dad filmed the two twins singing.
Oh, my goodness. That was hilarious.

♪ I don't care ♪

Every morning, I wake up, and somebody's sent
me a video of their child singing "let it go."

We also find ourselves
scolded by other parents,

who are like "I can't stop
hearing your song in my head."

And it's not just little
girls going nuts.

I would get people coming
into my office and saying,

"did you see the marines
reacting to your shot?"

♪ Let it go let it go ♪

That's awesome. It's great
that they're cheering for Elsa.

[ All cheer ]

It was unexpected, you know.

[ Cheering continues ]

I never thought I would see the day U.S.
marines would be cheering

on a character from an
animated Disney movie.

The song's not just
huge in the states.

It's a hit in almost every
corner of the world.

♪ The snow glows white
on a mountain tonight ♪

♪ not a footprint to be seen ♪

[Sings in different language]

And has been recorded in over
41 different languages.

And there's a camaraderie.

The international factor
that all of these kids

all over the world are
singing the same song,

whether it be in the
same language or not,

there's something so
powerful about that.

[ Singing in Japanese ]

[ Singing in Spanish ]

There's a K-pop version.

[ Woman singing in Korean ]

♪ Let it go let it go ♪

♪ the cold never bothered me
anyway ♪

And an African interpretation.

But even with the
worldwide acclaim,

on Oscar night, nobody was counting
on going home with a statue.

You never dare to dream to
win an Oscar.

I never thought I'd make it
past off-Broadway.

I was aiming for off-Broadway
when I graduated college.

So no, we didn't expect to win at all.

And the Oscar goes to; Kristen Anderson-Lopez
and Robert Lopez for "let it go," "Frozen."

But they did.

Thank you. We love you. We love you.
Thank you.

That night, "Frozen" was also
up for best animated feature.

And the Oscar goes to, "Frozen"

[ eers and applause ]

The crew that made it happen

were cheering on from the studio.

We are so proud of you for making
the film as magical as it is,

and we're bringing
this home to you.

That sense of family was really special to me
made a lot of usery emotional.

And with a sing-along DVD and
"Frozen on ice" on the horizon.

[ Gasps ]

The moms of at least two future
"Frozen" fans are feeling all set.

I am excited about the cool-mom street
cred I might get from this role.

My kid doesn't watch TV yet,

but maybe I'll keep it in my
back pocket for a rainy day,

till I really need it.

and in real life,

he and his friend Don Hall
have made a new movie here

at the animation studio
called "Big Hero 6."

Controlling them telepathically
with a neurocranial transmitter!

"Big Hero 6" is a story about Hiro
and Baymax, a boy and his robot.

We knew there was gonna
be a robot in the movie.

The robot's name is Baymax.

Now, it was important for me to put a robot
on-screen that we'd never seen before.

And no... not related.

Baymax was created to be a
personal healthcare companion.

When he identifies you as his
patient, he will do everything

in his power to cure whatever hails you.

Joining them are going to be Gogo,
Honey Lemon, Wasabi, and Fred,

and the six of them together
comprise the Big Hero 6.

We made up a city based upon two of our
favorite cities, San Francisco and Tokyo.

We made San Fransokyo.
And it is so cool.

crew is returning. It's absolutely hilarious.
