on getting my hands dirty

We lived so communal.

clean, sell things,

fix things, make things,
take care of animals.

Like, all our culture
is a means of survival

because travelers were pushed
onto the outskirts of society

by the Irish government.

Coming from an Irish
traveler Gypsy background,

I grew up feeling like
an alien my entire life.

I didn't really even
grow up living in a house.

I grew up living
in a caravan, chalets,

living in a communal way

where, you know,
family is everything.

But I didn't feel like
I was like

other traveler
and Gypsy people.

I was gay. Growing up, like,
I just felt so different.

But that experience gives me
a lot of confidence

when it comes to, you know,

being able
to co-live with people

and coexist and,
you know, to work hard

and have self-belief
that I think other people

in this house just aren't
used to having.

I have so much respect for
my parents and my grandparents

and everything
they came from because I know

the hard life
that they had in my country.

I was so yearning to,
like, see the world

and discover who I am
as an individual.

but I don't want to

in my mind, you know?
I want to be a good mom.

in the final prize pot.

Out there floating in the water
are going to be 23 balls.

Each ball has your name on it.

Your goal today
is to put those balls

into that chute at
the very top of that platform.

To begin, you're going
to form a human ladder

on each of those two ropes
hanging off the platform

by clipping yourselves
into the carabiners on the rope.

I'm in, let's go.

TJ:
You will then
transfer all the balls

onto the top of the platform and
then put them into the chute.

Here's the catch.

Each ball can only be put
into the chute

by the person with
their name on the ball.

Now, every ball is worth $2,000.

That equals up to $46,000.

However, if you get
all 23 balls in 23 minutes,

I'll give you 50 grand.

JAMES:
In the UK, I'm quite well known.

I come from a show
called The Only Way Is Essex.

I'm a household name.

The last time I attempted
The Challenge,

I let myself down.

So, I want that prize pot to be

as much as it possibly can be.

one of the people

who came up short

and couldn't get himself
clipped in,

so he's identified himself
as a weak link.

We need to build
and continue with a strong team.

was a liability.

Hughie was the only person

who was not able to get up

in our relationship
