that part of the game in terms
of alliances and friendships

There was parts in my brain that

- When we came over from Karearea, a
couple of days in, I was like, maybe
she's scamming me. You know?

And I was like, she's friends with
everyone, and I started to get real
paranoid.

It's interesting.

Genuinely, I have been...
my whole game has been making
friendships with people.

And I've tried to stick
to everything I've said,

but I have tried to, like,
make those bonds and stuff.

the biggest threat that is gone?

- I reckon Jordan
would've been a massive threat.

If Jordan had clicked on to
the game a little bit sooner...

a cult. It makes me so happy, cos we
were the fun group.

- I remember the day that
I felt like it was weird was
the day that Blair came back.

It was after he got put up, eh?

- My main think with Blair not
sharing the scroll with us was that
I was afraid that it wasgonna cause

some sort of fracture.

- That was the day that it dawned
on a lot of people that we were in
a game,

and that's when everyone
started getting suspicious.

Like, Jordan was suspicious
that me and Eli had thrown
the Captain's Coup.

Every time that I tried to do
something and I felt like it
was a mistake,

I felt like you were looking at me
being like, 'You're throwing it.

And then we all got to split.
And thank God.

Karearea and the new-look Tohora.

- I'll be honest ― when we
first moved, I thought maybe
it's a little bit too loose.

made in this game you regret?

- It's probably my biggest regret
because someone that I was most
probably going to align with, Blair,

leaves that day.

- Not realising the magnitude
of where we were at in the game.

going to happen.

- I think my biggest regret is
extremely similar to what you

and it was the day before.

We all agreed no matter who won,

we would protect each other that
night and no one would be up for
elimination.

So, in my mind, I was kinda―
there was the thought of being like,

well, you could just take
the win for yourself, Laura.

But then when Nick was getting
confused about the colours,
it was like, no, wait.

- You need to go to your own colour.

- It looks like it might go.

He knocks his totem. Nick takes out
the first individual challenge.

- And when you took me for
the reward, I was like, oh, I'll be

My wife and I have had a few
really strong moments in our past

I feel like I've learned
to back myself a bit more.

I've had a lot of anxiety in my life,
and I've struggled a lot with OCD and
things like that,

and I didn't think I'd be able to
make it very far, and I am really
proud that I'm here, so...

It has been a struggle, for sure.

I've definitely had moments where
I've been so anxious, and my OCD
has made things really difficult.

I was rewatching the 2019 season,
and Shortie Street Karl Burnett
self-eliminates.

And he's like, 'My mental health
is too bad. I need to go,' and I
was like, that... could happen to me.

I may just find this way too hard.

But it's also been kind of amazing ―

making friendships and people liking
me and doing the challenges that have
made me feel like,

OK, actually, I can do this.

- There's just so many things
I worry about on a day-to-day
basis in my normal life,

and now I feel like

I can get through them
cos I got through this.

have three buoys and three sets of
puzzle pieces.

On 'timata', you will swim out to
your first buoy, untie the set of
puzzle pieces,

bring them back to shore and put
them at the base of your puzzle.

You will then repeat that process for
your second set and your third set.

First person to correctly
complete their puzzle wins.

The winner will decide who will
face who in the elimination battle,
but here's the twist―

the winner of today's elimination
battle will go straight through to
the final three.

- And then everything changes again.

- So the decision of who you put up
is more important and difficult than
ever.

- This is probably, like, the only
elimination round that I wanna be
like, yeah, chuck meup.

I mean, maybe not against Nick if
it's ropes and stuff and endurance,
