All language subtitles for 49 - Sorting Previews

Now that we've applied keywords, flags,
color labels and star ratings

to our images, we can organize the images
in our catalog using a number of methods.

We'll start with sorting

to sort your thumbnails.

First, select
this sorting method from the sort menu.

You can see there are
a number of different sort methods.

This includes sorting by reading, by pick

by label text, label color file name,

file type and additional options.

Let's sort our previews
by reading in descending order.

That means from one star to five star.

So I'll go ahead and select reading.

So now if I scroll up in our gallery,

you'll notice that the one stars are
first,

followed by second, third, fourth
and fifth.

To change the order

from ascending to descending,
you can click this button here.

And now we have the five star ratings
first,

followed by the fourth, third,
second, and first.

Go ahead and try other sort methods
just to see how they work.

So if we went to label color,

you can see it starts with the reds

and transitions to the purple.

If you click this button again,
you can see the opposite.

This time I'll sort by pick

and you can see that the pick flag

images are first
and the reject images are last.

If you wanted to switch that again,
just press this button

and the opposite is now true.
