All language subtitles for 48 - Color Labels

Another way of prioritizing images

is by using color labels
similar to star ratings.

There are five color tags
we can apply to any image.

Once the color label is applied, we can
custom sort our collection by color.

You'll see that in action in a moment.

For now, it's important
to know how to apply these color labels.

When you hover your mouse over
any one of these thumbnails,

you'll see a small rectangle at the bottom

right corner.

When you click on this rectangle,

a menu appears with the colors
red, yellow, green, blue and purple.

To apply the color label,

you can simply click on
any one of these colors.

I selected red and you can see that

the thumbnail area
is now highlighted in red.

To remove

this color label,
I can simply click on that rectangle again

and uncheck red
and it goes back to normal.

Similar to flags and ratings,

we can also spray color labels
on using the painter.

So I'll select the painter

and from the menu or select label.

Now I have to choose which color
I'd like to apply in all apply red,

and I can just go ahead
and spray the red color

on to any of these thumbnails.

Once you finished with the painter,

remember to put it back.

There are shortcut methods
for applying color labels.

For example, if I were to highlight

the third and fourth row.

Press six to apply the red color label.

Press seven for yellow.

Eight for green and nine for blue.

Let's go ahead and

apply color labels
to each one of our images

because later on will be using
the color labels

to sort our images.

So we've applied one of each color label

to different groups of images.

So just make sure that each one does
have a color label attached.
