over to Sharon Tate, and I heard sounds.

What kind of sounds were they?

Gurgling sounds, like blood flowing
into the body out of the heart.

What did you do then?

I picked up the towel,
turned my head and touched her chest...

...and at the same time,
I saw that she was pregnant.

And I knew that there was a living
being inside of that body, and I wanted to...

...but I didn't have the courage
to go ahead and take it.

with Sharon Tate's blood...

And when we got back to the ranch,
Charlie was waiting for us.

hold the woman down.

We found out later
it was Rosemary LaBianca.

down because she was fighting...

in the living room with a fork in her hand...

She said she carved
