One of the key strengths of Excel is the ability to manage lists of data effectively by organizing it

into tables.

Let us organize the data into an Excel table select say Avon on the Home tab in the styles group click

format as table Excel displays a gallery of tables state any existing formatting remains applied to

your data even when you create the Excel table if you want Excel to replace the existing formatting

with the Excel stables formatting right click the table style you want to apply and then click apply

and clear formatting let us select a table style Excel displays the format as table dialog box verify

that the range is displayed in the vein is the data for your table feed make sure Daddy my table has

headers checkbox is selected and then click OK.

Excel creates an Excel table from your data and displays the design contextual tab to access more features

for the table click the design contextual that you can remove duplicates from your table you can select

the checkbox for banded columns and you can do many other things from this design contextual step to

add a new row of data in your Excel table simplify the data and press that key let us type January press

tab 5 5 6 5 0 and press tab 5 5 6 5 0 0 and then press enter you can see that the new raw data is included

in the acceptable you can also select a cell in the row immediately below the last row in the table

or a cell in the column immediately to the right of the table and then type of value into the cell

include the data in the Excel table you can click on the table or expansion to exclude the cells from

the Excel table if you never want Excel to include a decent data in an Excel table again click stop

automatically expanding tables you can also add rows and columns to an Excel table or remove them from

an Excel table by dragging the size handle at the Excel tables lower right corner you can increase the

number of columns or decrease the number of columns you can increase the number of rows or decrease

the number of rows.
