...as the Green team led
the charge to vote Chris

into elimination anyway.

And, as the pressure mounted
on one of The Challenge's

-strongest competitors...
-DESI: I'm just like,

...Desi took control of the game
and proved

that she could be
as strategic as the best.

ALYSSA L.:
Amanda.

That's what Desi's wanting,
and Desi's my girl.

-TJ: Amanda. (laughs)

I love that our plan
ultimately worked out.

TJ: As both Chris and Desi
won their eliminations,

Luis and Challenge vet Amanda
were sent home.

And Desi defected
to the Blue team.

And now, the vets' numbers
are dwindling down.

Just four of them
are left in the game.

Also, can a shorthanded
Green team

-still compete?
-That's the next checkpoint.

We got to hurry up

WES:
I don't think we need to.

I have the strategy.

I just need my team to trust me.

that I have Tyler and Monte,

who I'm super close with
in this game.

So, hopefully
we work well together

and maybe pull out
this next win.

winner to ever play Survivor

because I lost, got voted out,
and was able to make their way

back into the game and win
that million-dollar prize.

I am pleasantly surprised.

I think it's pretty clear now
that the lines are being drawn

between the rookies
in this game.

So as of right now,

the vets aren't a threat,
and this is

a complete advantage for us.

a little suspicious

Challenger,, and they loved it.

Maybe I would have
voted for Amanda,

and then I wouldn't have had
to make a new enemy.

but it also means that
you're gonna do it to me

when the time is right.

that even though

we are not going to do

as a part of our team, because
I don't want his strength

and his smarts

CORY:

CASSIDY: It's, like, red--
it's, like, auburn.

I have a little daughter,

and she has red hair
and blue eyes.

Not-- No kids,
but I have a niece and nephew

who I really care about
very passionately

because my sister passed away
a couple of years ago,

and she left behind two kids.

Yeah, I really love them,
they're sweet.

-CORY: I'm sorry to hear that.
-Yeah.

How did she pass?
Was it expected or...

She kind of dated
a-a really bad guy,

and he got her into drugs
and she overdosed.

CORY:
Mm.

I mean, I have never lost
a sister,

so I don't know how that feels,
but I've lost

some people, and it is tough.

What makes this game so unique
is everybody comes

from different backgrounds,
fighting for something.

I think she's a fighter,
and I'm excited to see

what she can do.

It's actually
such a huge epidemic

in our country,
and nobody talks about it.

There's many different things

that motivate me
to win this game.

I want to take care
of my family,

and to give them what I know

my sister would want to be able
to give them if she was here.

She was a very fiery person,
but... (sniffles)

Um, like, I just miss her.

Just her energy.

WES: There is always
a target on my back,

and that's the problem:
it makes it harder for me

to win than anybody else,

but that's not gonna
stop me from trying.

I just got to find a way

to, like, lull them all
into submission.

And so, the name of my strategy
at this moment is called

the Funny, Entertaining One.

And how I get away

with all this, like, camouflage

and smoke and mirrors
is I just be that guy.

It's gonna need to be
a strategy like that.

Like, that's gonna be the type
of shit that I pull.

I have to win,

at all costs.

CASSIDY:
I'm never gonna be safe
in this game

unless I win.

MONTE:
Going into this challenge,

it is super important
for the Green team

to take this thing home.

I mean, last week,
we clearly got bamboozled

by having two teams
go against us to make sure

that we did not win.

So, if we do not win,
the Green team is gonna be

at risk yet again
to lose another member.

TJ: All right, everyone,
welcome to your next challenge

on this season
of The Challenge: USA.

-(whooping)

How's everyone feeling?

-Good.
-All right, well,

today's challenge
is going to be awesome.

It is called Unboxed.

FAYSAL:
Yes.

To begin,
each and every one of you

is gonna have a giant box
with a puzzle inside of it

that is proportional
to each of your body weights.

You must carry this box
through the forest

in search of a finish line.

Along the way, you'll see
several puzzle stations.

If you start a puzzle station,

you cannot leave it
until you solve it.

If you solve your puzzle,
you can leave the box behind.

It's that simple.

At the first stop, there is
a station for each team,

but after that,
it is first come, first served.

And only one team can stop
at each of the next stations.

So if someone is there,
then you'll need

to continue
carrying all your boxes.

Whoever gets
to the finish line first

will win today's challenge
and be the only team safe

from elimination.

In the past, we've
done great at communicating,

especially in high-pressure
situations, and we have Desi

on our team now,
which is a huge physical asset.

And she's super smart,
and I think

we're just gonna
work together great as a team.

I think we're gonna continue
to do that and we're gonna win.

MICHELE:
My concern is,

do we take the time
to try to solve these puzzles

or do we try to power through?

Losing time on a puzzle could be
what makes or breaks the lead.

So, i-- there's a puzzle
within a puzzle.

WES:
Most of the time,
having less players

is a big disadvantage,
but occasionally,

it's a very big advantage.

We have to have less total boxes
get across the finish line.

And so, I have the strategy.

After the first checkpoint,

forget the puzzles
and just do the run.

Have faith
in your athletic ability

to get to the finish line,
even with the weight.

And I just need the rest
of my team to trust me.

TJ:

to carry whatsoever.

They're large, they're awkward,

and they're heavier
than I anticipated.

because I feel
the eyes on Survivor.

All seven of us are still here,
so it just makes sense

for people to start
looking at Survivor

as "We need to slim down
the Survivor number."

that is going in

to try and take a crack
at the second puzzle

and lighten our load even more.

there's a different puzzle

and it's just such a weird,

uncomfortable-size box

that it is so hard
to carry on your own.

WES:

While the Green team has
had a pretty big lead,

the best strategy
for our team to try to catch up

is to get rid of Cory's box
'cause it's the heaviest.

Coming off of a Red team win,

the best thing for my game

is to keep Red team strong.

is called Block Heads.

To begin, you're each gonna
have your own individual cages.

You're gonna be locked
in those cages.

Now, around the Arena

are flagpoles
with your little flags on them.

When I say go,

you will roll your cage
to each of your flags.

Now, you have four of them, all
right? And they are numbered,

so you have to go in order,

grabbing the flag
at each flagpole.

(cheering)

Once you've collected
all four flags,

you're gonna beeline it
to a light box

at the other end of the Arena.

You're gonna lay out your flags
on the light box

that will reveal a code

that will unlock your cage.

First person to free themselves

and hit that button wins
tonight's elimination round,

stays in the game.

She's obviously somebody that I

to these flags, but the
windows are really small, too,

and I can only reach

-TJ: Who can read it first?

The problem is I get
to this light box and I have

to be perfectly aligned
with it and if you don't have

the flags perfectly
placed together,

you can't read the code
and I try to backtrack

and flip around,
and nothing is working.

-This is crazy!
-Stop it there!

-(shouting, clamoring)
-That's it!

CHANELLE:
Can you reach it, Cassidy?

-MONTE: One more row, Alyssa!
-Fuck!

But finally, I see the light
and I get the code.

(all clamoring, cheering)

Almost there!

CHRIS:
Come on!

Get that lock off!

(cheering, shouting)

Come on, Cassidy!

TJ:
Here she comes.

-(horn blares)
-(cheering, clamoring)

CASSIDY:
I'm so proud of myself.

This is what I came here to do,
was to test myself.

And I knew
that I was capable of it.

And I know that a lot
of people doubted me.

I'm ready to just take
this bull by the horns

for the rest of the game.

JOSH:
Way to fight, Alyssa!

I gave it my all.
That's all I can do.

I'm glad
that Cassidy gets to go back.

Even though she's older than me,
I feel like she's like

a little sister to me,
