my mom and Ruben, my stepdad,

they went and rented
the movie that night

unknownst to me,

and raised a big stink.

So I bore all that,

just persecution.

It was good for me to get out.

I started feeling like
it was time to move on

because the focus was
less on outreach

to rebuilding,

and I'm just about ministry.

I hollered for 20 months,

looked pastors in the eye,

told them, "This city
needs 24/7 prayer."

Most of them would look
me in the eye and say,

"Man, that's a good
idea, brother."

But inwardly, I know
that they were thinking,

"What do you mean
'24/7 prayer'?"

He just looked at me
