powder has been poured into his eyes.

Had he been alive and chilly powder

Two people's fingerprints were
found at the crime scene.

One of them belonged to snake catcher
Rajakannu

and the other belonged to Ravi
who is the real culprit.

They are from my area.

They were talking about giving
50% in commission.

I didn't charge them a lot.

I got greedy and I made this mistake.

This jewellery belongs to the village
headman.

You have to return him everything.

Give me whatever you have stolen.

despite knowing who the thief was

and framed innocent Irula community

of a tribal woman

whom no one wants to help

and she suffers new atrocities
every day.

This is the habeas corpus petition.

The court decision
will give her justice...

and also hope.

or witnesses,

and yet Rajakannu and his family
were arrested and tortured by the police.

This court declares Rajakannu's
death as a murder.

SI Gurumurthy, Head Constable Veeraswamy
and Constable Keeruvakaran.

The court declares all three
of them guilty

and they should be arrested immediately.

Sanghini should be given 300,000
in compensation.

Mausa Kutty, Iratappan and Pachayammal
should be given 200,000 in compensation.

The court also orders the government
to grant 1200 square feet of land

in the middle of the village.

If the police and judiciary
work together,

then people wouldn't have to
fight for their rights.

The police department has been tarnished
due to some officers

but IG Perumalswamy has worked
diligently to earn back

trust of the people and the court
praises him for that.

Along with that the court also praises
Advocate Chandru

for his sincere efforts to help

get the tribal woman justice.

Arresting someone on trumped-up charges
not only tarnishes the police,

but it's a blot
to the entire society.

The lower courts shouldn't declare
the accused guilty in a hurried fashion.

The court wishes that there should be

a law that stops custodial torture

which is a human rights violation.
