weeds out myself.

But then, she started bringing
me a bouquet of wildflowers

every single day just to
prove how beautiful they were.

From the weeds in the lawn?

That's how it started,
but eventually, they

got more and more elaborate.

I couldn't believe all
those flowers were weeds.

But weeds are flowers,
too, you know.

We just call them
weeds because they're

growing somewhere unwanted.

I didn't know that.

It's all perception.

And as soon as I started
to see Nancy as a flower,

she and her lawn didn't
bother me at all.

So I started to
let the wildflowers

grow all over the place.

We got more compliments
than ever before.

And this is, too, why I
have never touched my lawn.

I think I missed out on
something great when I was 22.

I had a lot of growing up to do.

to be a blessing in disguise.

And not because I got a book
out of it, which, let me

second chance with you.

And thank you all so
much for coming out today

to celebrate Capturing
Romance, the first book

that we've published together.

RYAN: Yeah, the process
to writing this book

was unexpected,
to say the least.

But perhaps the most
interesting thing

when interviewing a bunch of
strangers about their love

stories was that everyone
thought that their love

story was a good one.

That's because love, in
itself, it a great story.

And lastly, thank you to
my grandpa Abe and Ruth.

This project is as much
yours as it is ours.

And thank you both
for showing me

that if you keep an open
heart, you might just

get a second chance at love.

Congratulations, you two.

This is a beautiful achievement.
