But they do it from a good place.

I mean, all they want is complete and utter control.

And believe me, I know all

about wanting control of your life

and having very little of it.

All you can do is inspire them to be innovative thinkers,

people who tap into their own creativity and competence to try new things,

to challenge the status quo, to make new discoveries.

And our kids will do all that and more

if we just back off and let them grow.
