So when you're prospecting,
you look for fault lines

and the best type
of fault lines
are ones that go like this

and that have cross faults
where they meet.

When you're trying
to build a company,

the two main factors is, like,
are people safe
and have a safe workplace

and is the business
making money

How do I look?

that had really, really good

There's no respirator on me.

If anything goes wrong
underground here,
you're dead.

And I'm guessing that's
a common occurrence.

In addition
to the 35,000 miners
who work here,

bandits often hide
in the caves,
looking for gold to steal,

and are known
to murder miners
who try to stop them.

the miners expect to find
almost five ounces of gold
worth nearly $7,500.

of mercury per year,

releasing 200,000 times
the safe limit
into the environment.
