Well, I called the people
from each of the villages

who sent in tips about
missing relatives.

They were more than happy
to make the requests for me.

And?

And I got two more DV charges

One dropped, one dismissed.

So neither charges
were ever made public.

So it's a pattern of violent behavior

that's been virtually
erased from the system.

missing in the last year.

This is the past five years.

15 years.

In the past 100 years,

literally thousands of
Native women have disappeared.

Still today, in 2023,

at least one woman goes missing
weekly from Anchorage alone.
