Pack it all up in your special
Six Degrees box

and then begin your search
for Santa #2.

You can choose
a complete stranger,

or someone in your orbit.

Your neighborhood
crossing guard,

or the gentleman you always see
reading on the bench.

Pass it off.

Then Santa #2 gets to enjoy

the gift for a day or two,

then repacks it in this box

and gives it to Santa #3.

Then Santa #3 hands it off...

and so on until it reaches
Santa #6,

who gets to keep the gift.
