This is the first week

where I genuinely have no

I know you had some trepidations
about the extermination.

- For me it was like a
simulation of drowning, almost.

Just like, not being
able to breathe,

just holding your breath.

- Yeah, you have to

- Which is a fucking nightmare.

I'm like, overly
fucking thankful.

I hate crying in
front of people.

I felt like I was in the same
position that I was last time.

I was doing so well and
then I just completely

got in my head and it just,

it showed.

I haven't had that great
of a time since season two,

it's been a
life-changing experience,

but I felt like I had so
much unfinished business

and not with just the
show, but within myself,

that at the time had a lot to
do with like, my self worth.

So yeah, that's what's so
important to me at this time.

I feel like I've just done so
much shitty things in my past

that like,

this is the only thing that
I've ever done with my life

that I'm actually proud of.

So like,

I need to just
keep moving forward

for the sake of
my fuckin' sanity.

- I'm really proud of Dahli.

He threw in the
towel on his season

and after I destroyed
him on Resurrection,

he's really come
back with a fight.

(Saint laughs)

It was hard enough hearing
that they were in the bottom,

and that possibly one of
us could be going home.

Being able to like, see that
like, both of us made it,

It really just felt
like a huge relief.

So, the latex was terrifying,

but also exciting,
and mostly hilarious

because as soon as it came off,

it took my entire
fucking face with it.

It was like a perfect imprint.

I went into it really
strong and really confident

because like, I'm gonna fight,
I'm not going to break down,

I'm not going to
show like, weakness.

But like, I was
really fucking scared.

I was really, really,
really fucking scared.

I'd maybe do it again.

(Dahli laughs)

I definitely want to watch,

The first time that it came down

is the defining moment
of the competition.

It's the challenge
that will dictate

who among you will compete

in the grand finale
of the season.

- Winning the next challenge

special reward.

to the top three

will automatically
be added to the cast

Dragula Season Four World Tour.

The killer clowns, that is.

- For this week's challenge

you must conceptualize and
craft a full monster look

based on the theme
killer clowns.

(contestants cheer)

- Yes, yes, yes,
yes, yes, yes, yes!

- While this
challenge is inspired

by one of our favorite movies,

"Killer Klowns
from Outer Space,"

your clown does not need to
be extraterrestrial in nature.

- Whether your drag clown
is a psychopathic killer,

a space alien in disguise,

a french commedia dell'arte
with a penchant for anarchy,

or something all
together different,

we want your clown
to tell us a story

and the story better
be written in blood.

- As a second part
to your challenge,

we will be taking
you on location,

where you'll be participating

in a clown cart
death race from hell.

(Dahli screams)

(contestants cheer)

- You will each get
your own clown go-kart

and will drive
against each other

through a series of obstacles

in a race to the finish line.

- There is also a special
fright feat this week

that will award the winner
the keys to the carts.

That means whoever wins
this week's fright feat

will be able to decide which
of you clowns gets which cart.

And I'll warn you now;

all clown carts were
not created equal.

- Your feat is simple;

There's a clown from your past

that's currently
hovering over a dunk tank

and you'll have three
chances to hit a target

and knock the clown
into the water below.

Whoever knocks the clown down

with the least
number of attempts

will win the challenge
and the keys to the carts.

- Go and enjoy your clown game

and then get busy on
your clown creations.

For three of you,

it's going to be a
one-way ticket to stardom.

But for one of you, it will
truly be your last laugh.

- Oh, and remember this;

- When judges said
to show more filth,

I don't think that's
what they meant.

- So right now I'm working
on my killer clown look.

I chose to go for a mime.

I'm making them
silent for a reason

and we don't know
the reason yet,

The reason could show its
face during top three.

And I'm gonna be using
the actual garments,

since I'm The Fashion,

to sell the physicality
of the look on the runway.

Everything is riding on
this performance for me.

I've gotten the same
critique for a while now,

and I just want
to show them that,

I'm more than that.

I am a ferocious performer,

and on top of that, I have
the looks to back it up.

So I just want to be
able to show both off.

- I'm already a
clown and a mess,

but I'm trying to approach
this in a whole new direction

by turning this
look into a mashup

of 16th century Korean exorcist

and a classic western clown.

So they're called Mudang,

and they were clowns
and also exorcists.

They used to perform
exorcism on people.

The structure is going to be

what the Korean traditional
clowns used to wear,

but the color scheme and
the appliques and stuff

will all be Western
traditional clown aesthetic.

So I'm going to take

the hat that the exorcist
and the clowns used to wear

and turn it into this kind
of like, a top hat moment.

I take so much
inspiration from Mudangs,

and how they move
and how they perform.

So this is going to be right
up my alley, I'm super excited.

- So my inspiration for killer
clown is very street punk.

The whole color palette
is like candy corn colors.

I figured it was like
a fun color scheme

that we don't normally
see on a clown.

I even gave him a name,
his name is Sweet Tooth.

I'm thinking about making him

to where he's completely just
all gums and has no teeth.

And maybe he like,
lost them from like,

eating entirely too much candy,

but he is on the hunt for teeth.

That's my favorite part
of Sweet Tooth, honestly.

Just,

just gum jobs.

The floor show is going to be
the most important part of it,

and getting that
like, story across

'cause my critiques last week

were about like, you know,
blowing my load too fast.

It's just a great way to say it.

So I think slowing down
and giving myself time

to like, tell the stories.

So like, the character can
be like, fully realized

for the people that are
watching and enjoying it.

- So for my clown, I'm very
inspired by traditional clowns.

I like to have a theme be
very clear when I present it.

And I'm just trying to bring
something that's a little

bloody and slutty.

To make it killer,

I have my sweet little

puppet baby.

I named her Cigarette,
Cig for short.

So that we're matchy-matchy,

and we have matching outfits.

A big part of clowning
is like, physicality

and being able to tell a story

with your body and
your movements.

And I'm very, very solid
in that department.

I'm confident that I
do a very good job,

physically doing things.

I've done everything
I can to remain like,

so confident and so focused,

because this means
so much to me.

But like, fuck dude.

My fucking mom.

My mom did just recently die.

And

she died

the same week that
I got the call

to come here.

And I didn't even
get to tell her.

She was my biggest fucking fan.

And she was so proud.

And she was,

To be able to be here
after everything,

and she doesn't even get
to share this with me.

- So we have some important
decisions to make today

because we are going to be
deciding who the top three is.

- Mm-hmm.

- And I'm terrified at crushing

one of these little
fragile souls.

- Are you really?

- A little, I like them.

- Yeah, I do too.

- Let's kind of talk about
where we are right now

with the four that we have,

- Sure.

- and how we think
they're doing so far.

Because it's not just

necessarily about how they
perform tonight, right?

- It's how they are backstage,

it's how they are with the crew,

it's how they are
as professionals.

- Right.

- And we're going to be
considering all that stuff.

- How do you think, in
general, about HoSo?

- I've considered
HoSo the wild card

throughout this
entire experience.

- [Dracmorda] Mm-hmm.

- I think I know
what I'm going to get

when I see the full picture

and then she comes out and
twists and contorts that idea.

- Right.

- My main concern with her,

isn't about creativity
or professionalism,

it's about being able to
deliver the performance,

a performance that audience
members can understand.

- Sigourney too,
started out so high,

and I still think she has
like a poise, and a delivery,

and like, an energy to her

that very few other
performers have.

- You want a piece of it,

you want to be in it's presence.

- Well,

she's sort of tripped up
these last couple of episodes.

We threw some curve balls at
her and she did not catch them.

- [Swanthula] She's not perfect,

but who amongst us is, really?

- Every performer has things
that they can work on.

Everybody has room to improve.

- Speaking of things
to improve on,

let's talk about
Saint for a minute,

and this idea of like,

breaking out of the
shell that she's in,

like her movement and her body.

I still feel like she has a
mental cage around her body.

Although, tonight was
probably the most giving

out of a physical performance,

so she is trying.

- I think it was
really interesting

that this week she chose
to do a performance

that was solely based
on movement alone.

It's almost like she's
trying to tell us something.

I get the message and I'm
going to work on this.

- She steered right into it,

which I respect.

- Yes, me too.

And then there's Dahli.

- [Swanthula] Dahli gave us
like, the best of Dahli tonight.

- I agree.

I think he tripped up
a little last week,

but he certainly
came back from it

and gave us the Dahli that
we've seen all season and love.

- Yeah.

- Any four of these performers

would be great to take on tour
and I think they'd do well,

but obviously,

three of them are going to do

just a little bit better
than that fourth one.

- And it's our job now
to play the alchemists.

Which three of these
chemical components

do we combine to make
the perfect potion

to bring on tour and
terrorize the world?

- We have very good judges

to help us make this
very hard decision.

and the challenges that

- Everything's put
together so nicely.

I love how you've like,

dingied up some of the fabric.

One thing that kinda
takes me out is like,

the hat is so clean,

I'd like to lean into
like, the dingy look.

- I should've rubbed
my hat on the floor.

- I like the danger of drag,

but when you were
like, tangled up,

I was like, this bitch
is gonna hurt herself.

Like, I was like,

I'm going to watch someone trip

and stab themselves in the eye.

It was like watching a
kid run with scissors.

- I love your silhouette.

I love pretty much this
entire thing tonight.

This is twisted and beautiful,
which is a great combination.

I love this little, multiple
personality, mini-me puppet.

The way that it just like,

emulates that like, death
stare the Sigourney has,

were a little bit hard
to see you struggle with.

It just completely
consumed you for a second.

I just would've loved
to have seen like,

a big finale with
one of the balloons,

maybe pop one of them and
blood came out of them,

or something like that.

Well, that would have
been extraordinary.

- The balloons, obviously
you had some issues there.

But I do think when you turned
on them and decided like,

"I just have to massacre
them right now,"

I felt your frenzy, so
that was a little scary.

So I think that added a little
more killer to your clown.

- Something Drac can
really relate to.

- Absolutely, I've been there.

Usually when I rip
off these outfits

at the end of the night,

it's very similar.

(everyone laughs)

- Let's move on to HoSo.

- HoSo, I really enjoyed this
whole look, all together.

I love the whole idea of it.

Like, just as you came
out, like, the three faces,

it would have been
cool actually to see

maybe the face not
be the center face,

and start off with the right

and then it throws
us for a loop.

But other than that,

I think completely, I love this.

So great job.

- Thank you.

- Clowns, when they kill,

they typically use really
unconventional weapons.

So it's kinda weird to
see a clown with a sword.

And you also had the chicken,

but then you kill the chicken,

but I would've rather have
been killed by the chicken.

So like, lose the sword
and keep the chicken.

And I do agree,

there's a lot of like,
detail into your garment.

Because you're so detailed,

it does take it out
when you see like,

the back of the masks
that aren't painted.

One little thing pulls
you out of the visual.

Love details.

I love D, and I love tail.

- I think there may just
be too much going on here.

From head to toe, you
are decorated beyond,

but I'm kind of
missing the messaging.

And I kind of gave you that
critique last week too.

If you're going to
have complicated ideas,

make sure that your audience
understands what you're doing.

- Your face is just now become

an iconic part of Dragula
history in my opinion.

It's so striking and different,

and you always manage to change
it up to fit the challenge,

but you can still
see HoSo in it.

I do think there was a
little bit of busy-ness

overall with your concept,

There was a lot of
things happening.

But you did a really good job.

Dahli, you look fuckin' cool.

And I've been suspicious of
something the whole season,

note after last episode.

You peeled back this
performance slowly.

There was so much more
than I could have imagined,

The look. I mean, you're in
character the whole time.

I mean, the details on this,

the magnifying glass, the
teeth from head to toe.

It's my favorite look tonight,

and I couldn't keep
my eyes off of you.

- So at first I was like,

I thought you were like
a traffic cone clown.

I was like, I've never
seen a traffic cone clown.

- It could happen.

- A candy corn clown
does make more sense.

I love that you chose a
motif and a color palette

that is instantly recognizable.

And this is wild.

From the top of your corn
to the bottom of your

probably corns on your feet too.

I don't so much see
the killer in you.

I see like, the tormented,

you know, "please help me,"

I think it's a cool message.

I definitely see
fashion, I see clown.

I don't see too much killer.

- Yeah, Saint,

I think this look
is very fashion,

but in comparison to the others,

I think that it could
have had a little more.

I think the body movement

could have been a
bit more as well.

I think the camera
does love you.

I feel like you could be an
amazing performer on screen.

On stage you got to reach
to the back row, right?

But on screen, you're
great for the camera.

So, it's a good thing
and a bad thing, I guess.

- So I think choosing
a mime was interesting

because of the critique
that you've been given.

To lean into the physicality

shows that you're listening
to what we're saying

and you're trying to make an
effort to answer for that.

I like this look. There's
devil in the details.

- The part of this outfit
that I love the most

is this shirt with
these fierce sleeves.

But then I think
the overalls over it

is kind of overpowering,
if that makes sense.

I don't know if it
was custom or what,

but take it from
someone who did it.

You do not want to go into the
finale of a drag competition

wearing store-bought clothes.

I mean it could
work out for you.

And I was really kinda
struggling a lot with

giving a critique
to you too because,

I know you won Resurrection,

I think a lot of times when
you're like, a black person,

people will try to
discredit your victories

and they'll act like you won

because it was a diversity hire.

You have to work four times
as hard to get the same thing

that your white cis straight
counterparts would get.

So that's why it was
hurting my heart to,

to give you a critique
that was less than glowing.

But I also feel, black
queer to black queer,

that it feels important
to help each other know

when we can lift up as well.

- I appreciate that.

seasoned professionals

A lot of times during
this competition

you've kind of been unaware
of like, your surroundings,

and of other people's
feelings, and personal space.

I think that you're too young,

and I think that
you're not ready yet.

unprepared for it.

In a couple of years,

But for right now, no.

again, I respect that
