So look, I got a top tip.

Nerves.

So, especially when you're starting out.

You get a job, you've done all this sort of, preparation.

You've found yourself where you are

and now the big jobs come in and you are bricking it, right.

So, today I still get very nervous.

If I'm about to shoot a really, really massive actor

that I've never shot before,

you'll see me pacing up and down,

waiting for things to start.

And what I've learned,

probably, yeah, in recent years,

is to really welcome that feeling.

I can't think of a shoot

that I've ever been really nervous about,

that didn't turn into one of the best shoots I've ever done.

It's great to be a bit scared.

Obviously you don't want to absolutely lose the plot

and curl into a ball and die.

But to stand there and say,

"Right, this is a big one, I care about this.

This means a lot to me."

That's massive, you know,

cause that's gonna show out in the photography.

You're gonna be that much more alert.

You're gonna try that much harder.

You're gonna work it.

So when you feel the nerves, when you're scared,

when you bricking it,

pause.

Right?

Cause that is your friend.

Hug your nerves, hug your fear, embrace it.

It's great.
