A carnival.

A magician called the Charlatan

brings them to life.

Petrushka falls in love
with the ballerina,

but she loves the Moor.

Petrushka is angry and hurt,

and he challenges the Moor to a duel.

But the Moor kills him.

So Petrushka's ghost floats

for bringing him to life,
