The successes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
are not limited to Izyum and Liman, the Ukrainian

army continued an active counterattack on
Kherson and eastern Ukraine.

The liberation of Liman is regarded by international
and Ukrainian military experts as a significant

strategic success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Retaking control of the city gives the Ukrainian
army a chance to move towards Luhansk - towards

the cities of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk.

The liberation of these two cities would have
great psychological significance for Ukraine,

including, if we recall how much loss Russia
cost their capture.

At this point, it is already more than 60,000
people according to estimates on the Ukrainian

side, in fact even more.

After that, the way would open for the Ukrainian
armed forces to the settlements of Svatovo

and Starobelsk, the main rear hubs of the
Russian army in this section of the front.

If these two towns were liberated by the Ukrainian
armed forces, practically the entire front

would collapse.

Russian resources write about the Ukrainian
armed forces' offensive and the "dangerous

situation" in which Putin's troops find themselves
with the loss of control and communications.

According to some reports, there are about
20,000 Russian soldiers in Kherson.

Continued shelling by Ukrainian armed forces
of at least three bridges over the Dnieper

River since the summer has made it difficult
to supply the Russian army, and the fall rains

The American think tank Institute for the
Study of War wrote the other day that Ukrainian

forces continue to attack Russian supply,
transport, and military facilities in the

Kherson region.

The Ukrainian military, according to an ISW
analysis report, "is silent about AFU maneuvers

in the Kherson region, but says that Russian
forces are moving newly mobilized troops to

reinforce the front line in the region.

Having suffered numerous defeats in Ukraine,
Russia has denuded the border with NATO countries.

Of the 30,000 Russian troops stationed near
the Russian Federation's borders with the

Baltic states and Finland, 80 percent have
been moved to Ukraine."

The Russian armed forces have already reached
the limit of their operational capabilities,

they are suffering enormous losses in the
form of killed or wounded soldiers.

But even the weakened Russian army is still
capable of resisting in Ukraine's occupied

territories.
