Operation to free Liman.

What’s important to understand?

Any successful counter-offensive ends not
with a blind defense, but with the development

of successes and the continuation of the defeat
of the enemy.

After the blitzkrieg of the Kharkiv direction,
it was obvious that parts of the Ukrainian

armed forces would not wait long, and indeed,
we saw the crossing of the Oskol River, the

expansion of bridgeheads and the beginning
of the operation to liberate Liman.

This city, like Balakliia, Izum, Vysopole
and Kupiansk was liberated with the help of

encirclement and moving forward.

If you want to get a city in one piece and
not destroy it completely, as the Russians

did in Mariupol, Popasna, and Severodonetsk,
you don't storm it head-on.

You surround the city and put the enemy before
a choice, either trap or flee.

If he chooses a trap, he will not sit there
forever, without supplies, and sooner or later

will surrender.

We see that in the case of the Ukrainian Armed
Forces, this is not the exception, but the

rule.

Ukrainian commanders have shown and proven
that they can liberate large population centers

without resorting to bombing and destroying
them.

This is very important.

In many ways it is important because the liberation
of Donetsk and Luhansk will follow a similar

scenario.

Cities will be bypassed and squeezed until
the enemy is in full cordon.

And now it is training before a large-scale
counter-offensive.

The Kherson region is already being liberated.

The Liman operation is also significant because
the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

aligns the front.

This facilitates logistics, makes it easier
to move units, eliminates dangerous areas,

and more.

The next target will probably be Svatovo in
the Luhansk region.

It is an important hub and logistics center
plus it is the key to the space leading to

Starobelsk.

If you control Svatovo, you take fire control
of the entire multi-kilometer perimeter east

of the city.

The occupation troops are already feverishly
trying to organize the defense of Svatovo.

A so-called "zoo" of everything from the remnants
of the first tank army to fresh recruits who

picked up Kalashnikov assault rifles two days
ago has been assembled there.

I have very big doubts about the combat effectiveness
of this crowd and I am sure that the AFU General

Staff will soon begin to influence this zoo
with all the long-range means at its disposal.

An interesting fact - in the Russian Federation
Liman stayed only one day.
