now will worsen.

Your heart stopped today.

...it might kill you.

Your liver, adrenal,
uh, thyroid glands,

one by one, will likely fail.

Carol, when that happens,
you'll be hospitalized.

You'll need surgeries,

medications, dialysis,
ventilators.

[voice breaking]:
I have fought so hard
for so long.

there's no hope.

CONRAD:

That's not
