I did four movies.

for me as a musician ever,

this tour just sold out

and like I forgot to build a set?

before we were actually scheduled to play

overwhelmed with everything.

We had no set, none.

we're supposed to go on tour,

Rook got into the altercation,

like it was a robbery that turned into him
getting run over by a car.

He was lucky to even be alive after that.

But I know it fucked him up
because his bones snapped,

and we were six months out
from going on a tour,

the biggest tour yet actually.

Technically the doctors were like,

"You aren't going to be able
to walk for a year,"

and by the time it came to tour,
he got behind the drums

Dude, the anticipation of
Mainstream Sellout

getting that number one was...

it drove me crazy

because clearly I wouldn't
even just take an hour off.

every second of the day

to make sure that we showed the world

and like showed the fans that this

if you can do it again.

And it's like, it's so hard
for people to just fuckin' believe

that we are what we are
and we're great at what we do.

boyish I was when I first came out here.

and then you have to like
go back to the underworld

and try and retrieve any part of yourself

Okay, so right before we got onstage,

there was this whole,

where people were--

confused when "Tickets" came out.

They were like, "You can't do that."

And so many people with the success of it,

And "Mainstream Sellout" was a statement

on behalf of someone trying
to figure themselves out

with the world telling

And this album is to show people,
