When I was a kid,

my family moved around a lot.

Switching schools
six times in four years

made it pretty tough
to make friends.

But over time,
I got pretty good at it.

I even stopped questioning
why we needed to move so often.

When my dad's job
took my mom and me

to Patterson Grove,
Pennsylvania,

I thought we had just moved
to another boring little town.

That June,
I had to go to summer school.

that I met four other kids

who became very close friends.

I still can't believe was real.
