In this lecture, we will learn some tips for becoming the best seashore programmer that you can be.

Let's go over some tips for how you can become the best programmer that you can possibly become.

To achieve your goals.

Tip number one, be persistent.

The number one piece of advice I have for anyone trying to learn programming is to be persistent.

At times it is going to be confusing and you're going to be tempted to give up.

Resist the urge to quit.

Continue to study and practice coding.

And I promise it will be easier.

Tip number two, stick to a routine.

I also recommend sticking to a schedule.

I code every single day, including weekends and vacation.

It's not always for work on my off time.

I work on side projects, udemy courses and work on learning more to build up my arsenal of skills.

Even if you don't code every single day.

Try to stick to a routine.

Whether it is one, two or three times a week.

Set aside some time for yourself to learn programming.

Tip number three, focus on the fundamentals.

I know that you want to do the flashy stuff.

I love the advanced material too.

But before you can work up to the advanced techniques, it is super important that you master the fundamentals

of computer science, understand what the basic concepts are and the theories behind those concepts,

and then build upon that foundation.

Tip number four, build hands on projects no matter what level of experience you have.

Programming is a learned by doing activity.

You will learn tons more by tinkering with the code and seeing how things work in practice than by just

watching along with the videos.

Make sure that you are not just taking notes, but also typing in the code, as I do, to truly reap

the full benefits of this course.

Tip number five.

Don't be afraid to ask for help.

If you get stuck and need help.

Here is the process.

I suggest you go through first check the course Q&A forum and see if someone else has had the same problem

and got a working answer.

Then Google the issue and try for around 10 minutes to see if you can figure out the solution.

After that other post your question to the Q&A forum or message me on you.

To me, asking for help is perfectly normal.

When I started coding, there were times that I got stuck and getting help from a more experienced programmer

really helped me not only to fix the issue, but understand it more deeply in the next lecture.
