All language subtitles for 3. Getting Some Data

We've now got everything set up and now we can start to focus on the actual application to implement

this thing.

We're going to write out a lot of code inside of our app component.

We're not gonna worry about creating any subcomponents or anything like that because again we're really

just focused on directives so in order to implement something like this we should probably add a property

to our app component that's going to be an array of objects.

And each of those objects can have probably a title and a link to some kind of image to show.

Once we've got that array of objects we can then figure out how to iterate over it and hopefully show

some kind of patch nation thing like that right there but to get started I can go over to my app component

inside the app directory.

Here's the app glass file right here right away.

We can remove that title property.

Remember that gets initialized inside of your anytime we generate a new project.

It's just for demonstration purposes.

We can delete it right away.

Then inside of my app component I go into just to create a new property that I will call images.

Now I'm going to initialize it to be an array of objects I'll say that every object inside of here is

going to have a title property and maybe I'll give it a title like at the beach and I'll have them I'll

have a new URL as well.

This is going to be an actual U.R.L. to some image that is hosted online for this project rather than

using the same strategy we used a little bit ago to just drop a lot of files inside of our assets directory.

We're going to instead just link to some different images that are hosted online.

This is just going to save us a little bit of time because again this application is really about directives

to get some different your ls going to hop over to on Splash dot com which is a Web site where we can

very easily search for a lot of different images over it on Splash dot com.

I'll search for beach I'll find a picture of a beach or this one right here right click on it.

I'll be the image address will back over and paste that in or the URL OK we're going to repeat this

like three four or five times.

I'm going to let you go ahead and do this on your own rather than showing you how I'm pulling in these

different links and just doing some copy pasting to make sure that between this video and the next one

you add in a total of like how about three more objects you want three total and each of them should

have some title and a you URL and the URL should be different for every single one.

Just hop over to UN splash search for something whatever you like.

Grab the link and paste it in as the URL for each of these objects.
