In this video, we're taking a look at the website, Zelig.

It can be found at XLE x dot com.

Now, Zoellick's is a free people search database, much, much like PYPL or spoko or any number of

other systems.

However, Zoellick is also free now.

If you're coming back and reviewing the course, this may look familiar.

This site used to be called Cube, but now it's branded as Zelig, so it's a resource to search millions

of online data records for free, which makes it pretty handy.

Now, this is going to be another U.S. based tool.

But if you're searching for anyone in the United States, this can be incredibly handy tool.

Again, it is free, so we're not paying to access a database.

We're not going through data breaches or whatnot.

This is a free public data search, so anyone could actually use this.

So let's take a look now.

I put a generic name in.

I put John Lee in California, so this should come up with quite a number of users.

It's not anyone I'm particularly searching for specifically, but I decided to choose a pretty generic

name.

So once you have it in there and you can click the down arrow and choose any any number of states here,

you can click Get Started.

And it comes back with a number of records right off the bat, so they found 60 people, we could take

a look.

We could see the person's name.

We could see their age, their location.

We could see their with their addresses or at least what it thinks are current addresses, phone numbers,

email addresses, postal relatives, previous addresses, email addresses.

All this is really handy because if we're doing a search on someone, if we're trying to track slowing

down, having all this prior information and current information, things like, well, they used to

live here, I could start checking out that address.

These are their possible relatives.

I could take a look at these relatives.

I can check the relatives social media accounts, see if they talk about the person I'm looking for,

or possibly people that they know or related or might go to.

Email addresses, combined with email addresses at this person probably has or had I could start doing

database searches against those email addresses to see what those e-mail addresses are tied to, is

it tied to Facebook?

Is it tied or old?

LinkedIn profile, old Twitter account or whatnot?

So again, really handy to be able to do this.

So if I keep scrolling down in here, we could see the various records here.

This one actually has some associated businesses.

More alternate email addresses.

And so on and so on, so let me scroll back up again here.

And we could do things like marketing data.

Let's we can start isolating things down and well, let's click marketing data and see what it found.

So marketing data they found address, phone number, gender date of birth, time zone as it were.

Lines of credit roof credit range.

What language they speak.

Ethnic group education level.

So that's again, that's quite a bit of information here.

We can do vehicle sales, data registration, who is records, voter registration court records.

So if we're doing a background check to see if someone had a possible criminal background, we could

take a look at public campaign contributions.

If we're looking for political information on people or just getting a broader picture about someone

applications, court records again, business registration records, things like that of that nature.

So if we're doing business registration records, we could see either this person's registered to Silver

Spray Pharmacy Inc.

So I can potentially take that name, put it in the California database to find out more about that

business.

Is it active?

Is it inactive?

Who are the people associated with that business?

Things like that.

So again, a pretty, pretty useful website, a lot of great information, and again, you're not paying

it being a fee for this stuff, but.

Just like any other people, search site information in here, you do want to vet it.

I do recommend that you vet any information that you're grabbing from here.

The information may be right, it may not be right, so again, you know, you should do your due diligence

and double check that information, make sure that the information that you're there, your point is

accurate.

And again, it may take that extra time to do that, but it's far better to catch that early than to

pull this information.

Well, this person has a criminal record, and there were arrests in this state on this date and present

it so.

And find out that information was false and it was actually, well, the database had it wrong and actually

wasn't this person someone with the same name from a different state?

So to save yourself the embarrassment, to save yourself all that trouble, you do want to again vet

the information that includes everything, things like, Well, I have a address here.

Is that really their address?

Put in another search site, another database.

And it may come up with the same information they may be pulling from another data, the same database,

but at least you're doing some due diligence to try to match up that information to make sure it's accurate.

So again, this is delicate.

XLE caked calm, and it's a free sight to do people searches in the United States again.

It's a pretty cool tool.

I do recommend checking it out at least.

It's free, no registration required and pretty useful resource.
