Now that we did learn,

about one of the most important Next.js features,

the file-based routing,

it is time to practice what we learned.

It is time to apply what we learned in theory

to a small demo project

and therefore now it's project time,

we're going to apply what you learned.

Now in this course section year,

we are going to build this little events app

where we can browse a list of events,

where we can then select a single event

and where we can also filter for events.

And we're going to build that with Next.js of course

and with what you learned thus far.

Therefore in detail,

we are going to create this complete project

from the ground up together, step by step,

so that we really get that practical experience

with Next.js.

We are going to add both Static and Dynamic Routes

to this project because we will need both

and we are also going to add regular React components

So non-page components to this project

something we haven't done thus far,

we didn't add normal components in the last core section.

Now we are going to do that

and we are going to connect everything.

And therefore, of course the primary purpose

of this project is to practice what we learned.

But you will also learn a couple of new things,

for example, where to store regular React components.

And hence I definitely recommend that you follow along

and go through that project together with me,

of course if you're feeling super fancy,

also definitely pause from time to time

and try out the next steps on your own.

But with that, let's dive right in

and let's create and plan our project.
