OK, so the first step in writing a blog would be the research process for this blog.

I'm still writing about comedians and how they do their marketing.

And the comedian I've chosen to write about this time is Amy Schumer.

And so I'm just in Google search or any search engine you like to use.

I'll open like a couple of times.

Seem like six times.

Amy owned content marketing.

And she's endorsing a brand.

So these are all marketing stuff.

And so I'll just open them and so that I can go through them.

And check out what could be used for my.

Or my blog post, this one.

It's good to.

So after you've found some articles or content that could help with writing your blog, then just go

through it and see what you could use.

And like for this one, you can see that they're doing some marketing for the the on.

Just do your research first.

It takes like a couple of minutes to do research.

And then this is how you get started with WordPress.

So you've got to open it first.

Log in.

And then you go to post and new.

Here would be your title, and this is the body, so you just start typing your ball here.

So minds about Chuma of content marketing.

So you just type here.

And I would suggest to just type it, type the whole body, and then later on after you're done, then

you add the pictures and then you format it.

And I'll go over those steps after I've completed the blog and always try to save dropped as often as

you can just in case, because you don't want to lose your work when you're writing a blog.

There are three parts for our blog.

The length will be around two thousand words.

And so we'll have the introduction, the body and the conclusion.

Usually my introductions are like three hundred to 500 words and then the body is longer like a thousand

five hundred words.

And then the conclusion is like two hundred to three hundred words.

So if you take a look at my blog here.

So yeah.

So this one's about Amy Schumer and I'll introduce like who she is, what she's known for.

Here is more about what this blog is about, which is marketing in the world of comedy.

Let's just take a look again.

So I start off really General, for the introduction and then I get more specific about the idea of

the blog.

And then this one's about marketing.

So in my research, I dug out some articles about Amy Schumer and what she's done in terms of strategies.

And I found one about her being a really good content marketer.

So I just put in the points, you know, anything that supports your arguments or supports what you're

writing about collaborating with YouTube stars.

So this is all anybody anything that supports your introduction will go in the body.

And then I didn't put a conclusion yet.

It should come here.

The conclusion, two hundred three hundred words like basically summarizes the introduction and the

body.

Whatever I wrote in the introduction and some ideas from the body, I can restate that in the conclusion

it's ready to go.

The last part would be to check it and to do so after you're done doing all this, all the whole blog,

just check the format, check the spelling.

I used primarily to check the spelling, so just check it.

Punctuation

came with Utzon's, so just check the grammar and spelling all the content on this.

Yeah, check the grammar, check everything.

OK, and then after you finish checking,

the next step would be the layout.

Just make sure that this one is set to no sidebar.

Also for the categories.

This one is about marketing.

So I picked marketing.

And then we will also look at the formatting of the headings for main ideas or main topics.

I like to use heading to and I like to change the color to our color, which is being 1993, and then

for the subtopic I use heading three.

So here you can change it and it's just black.

And then so this is hitting three and then this is a main topic.

So hitting two and change the color to our color.

Be ninety nine P should be hitting three and I don't want to use caps name

and then this should be hitting two and our color this one as well.

OK, this one just leave it as it is.

OK then after you've checked the formatting we can insert pictures of you need to put some media so

that it's not just one hundred percent text.

So it's easier on the eyes of the readers.

And usually we have a featured image which is here and that will go on the front of the blog as well

as all the linked reviews.

And basically, I think this blog has quite a lot of YouTube videos, two or three.

So it's not so boring.

It's not just text and maybe we can put one on and maybe one somewhere in the beginning.

Let's see.

Maybe one about being authentic.

So let's and for pictures, I use tech schools and Google just make sure it's royalty free.

So, for example, I type in Amy Schumer, I go to images, I go to Tool's Usage Rights, Creative Commons,

and then I see what I can use here.

These are all you're able to use all of these.

So for the featured image, it's going to be at the front.

So you have to choose a nice picture.

Let's see.

Let's say we go with this one and then just just save it.

And then I wanted to find a picture about being authentic.

So we'll use pixels because I want to put it here, like being her true, authentic self.

Maybe I can put a picture somewhere here or like yourselves

or maybe put a picture here about her using the Peabody Award, like this one.

Here we go to see it.

So after you found your pictures, there's a couple more steps we need to resize them and optimize.

So now I'll show you how to resize them.

I use Photoshop, which is like Photoshop.

You could use Photoshop if you want.

And so I just open these two pictures that I'm going to use.

I'm going to use this one for the featured image and the shape that WordPress likes to use for featured

images, quite squarish.

So I'm going to crop it.

Let's just say something like that press enter.

OK, then you want to export as J bag or featured images, let's make it around six hundred and quality

one hundred percent and save.

And then if it's just a normal picture within the body of the blog, we can export as JPEG as well.

The size can be around four hundred.

Five hundred.

That's fine.

And the quality can be 70 percent safe.

So after you resize them, the next step would be to optimize them.

So we try to make it as small as possible so that the website loads really fast.

So just drag it and drop it.

Download, download, even you go back here and you add the media.

I've already ed and.

Just inserts it and so featured image, you put it in from here.

OK, so after you've put in the pictures, just quickly, Chuck, everything looks in order.

Click preview, make sure there's no extra spacing or a font size is too big or too picture looks good.

Not sure why this looks different.

So getting to four main topics I like to use, heading to and then for the subtopic I use, heading

three and the main topic, I like to use our colour, which is being 1999.

Let's take a look again.

OK, that looks fine.

Perhaps could put a line, break your neck too close,

that looks good, looks good.

Everything looks good for the YouTube links.

If you just put it in here and press enter, it will embed itself and people can play it within the

blog so they don't have to leave.

And then or a quote, block like this, how you do it is

say you want this to be a quote block.

You just press this.

So it looks like that.

So it looks bigger and it stands out.

Everything looks good.

Check once more for the categories.

It's marketing.

It's more than one category.

I would suggest to click on maximum two and then there's one no sidebar.

And for the others, just leave the scene.

And then here is where you insert your image and always remember to insert the community at the end.

And then we get to the last part here.

So I've decided to name it.

Amy Schumer is a hilarious marketing guru and the title goes at the top here, and this would be like

a linked preview.

So here is what shows up here.

So I could put a guide to marketing in the entertainment industry.

And then in the meta description, this is what shows up here.

I just choose a paragraph that summarizes what this blog is about and just pasted here.

It doesn't doesn't show the whole thing.

So here you see dot, dot, dot, and that's fine.

And then that's about it.
