- I don't know who these
characters are,

but we're all gonna learn
who they are together.

- Get ready to go
behind the scenes

during the making of the final
season of "Henry Danger."

- I really don't know
if I'll be back.

You know, I don't know.
Well, I'll be back.

- I'm back. Let's do this.

- Oh! Oh!
Hey, spoiler alert, man.

Come on,
we're just getting started.

I'm Cooper Barnes,
AKA Captain Man,

and this is
"The Danger Documentary.

Chapter one,
the beginning of the end.

All right. Why don't we start
this thing at the beginning?

Ooh, oh, oh, well, well,
this is the very beginning,

but check this out.
It's Jace's audition.

- Well,
Dad said part-time helper,

so I'm thinking maybe you need
someone to help you,

you know, part-time.

[laughter]

- Oh, hello.
Who's this handsome fella?

Fingers or golf balls?

- Fingers?

- Maybe, but complete
this sentence.

I'm sorry, Mother, I didn't
mean for my elephant

to blank.

All right
that's enough of that.

What I meant was, our first
week back the beginning

of our final season.

Ah, ah, here we go.

- Hey, Guys.
- Good morning.

- It's time to head to work.
- Hey, guys.

- I'm going to make a TV show.

- What's up? Just got to set.

Again, Cooper's late as usual.

[cheers and applause]

- Oh, hey, thanks, man.
Did you know that I came up

with this whole thing?
Pretty exciting.

- We've got some good stuff
planned for you.

I'm literally walking to set
right now to shoot it.

- It's okay. It's okay.

- We're okay?
- Yeah.

- Yeah, making a little cameo?

Okay, don't be weird now.

Don't be weird.

- It's a good sign.
Look. Things are moving.

It's really a factory here
when you think about it.

I don't have an ID.

A typical week is, like,
basically table read,

and we will read the script,

and we'll go
from beginning to end.

- We turn to page one.

It's the A scene
on the front porch at night.

Henry is sitting on
the front porch

carving a pumpkin using
the laser from his remote.

He is dressed
as an exterminator

with a large backpack
that connects

to a cool-looking bug zapper.

- Wow.
- Yes. Okay.

He turns the pumpkin to check
his progress,

and we see that he has carved
an image

of Ray's face
into the pumpkin.

He checks his work against
a framed picture of Ray.

- This pumpkin looks good.
[laughter]

- The big challenge there is
just to get the energy going

and bring new life
to a new episode.

- He's on the ground
[indistinct].

- Stay down, monster!

- [squeals] Let me explain.
- I said stay down.

And after we're done
with the read-through,

it's time for a rehearsal.

- I like rehearsal days.

A lot of jokes
come from the rehearsal days.

- I'm going off-book.
- Uh-oh. Whoa.

- And then at some point we get
up at speed, we get off book,

which means we've learned
all our lines at that point.

- I usually get
most of my lines wrong

the first time I say them,
so...

Oh, have you checked
the fridge?

Wait. Do it again.

- We do fight choreography...

- Mark.

If--if and when there's time.

And then we put it on its feet
for the producers

for the network run-through.

You got salsa in my eye.!

- That's because Jasper's
chocolate head

landed in my salsa.

- We have a good time.

We--wow, how long
has he been back there?

I for real had no idea
he was there the whole time.

As I was sitting here,
and I'm like,

he's having a real good time,
and, like,

nothing I'm saying
is particularly funny.

- I remember in rehearsal
one time I, like,

tripped
down the stairs mid-scene

when I was,
like, I supposed to do my line.

So, you know
that wasn't the best.

- One foot in front
of the other.

Easy now. There you go.
- Oh, oh, oh.

- My favorite thing on set
just joking around with Cooper.

[laughter]

Me and my friend
making a TV show together.

- Yeah.

- Becky didn't even say
that she saw him.

I was like,
"You don't think I saw you?"

You know, when you're doing
those weeks,

you got to keep yourself
entertained somehow,

so that's usually what we do.

- Yeah, check it out.
Testing rock.

Bonk.
- Ow!

- That was--that was not
scripted

but it felt good.

And this is the part
of the process

that eventually ended up
on your television screens.

- Okay, Schwoz, what do we do?

- Yeah, can you defuse the bomb
without blowing us up?

- Yes, yes, yes, yes, I see it.
Now there is a way.

Jasper, you cut the orange wire
right after

Charlotte cuts the white wire.

- Wait, what?
- And then on Monday

you just do it
all over again for five years.

- Chapter two,
new heroes in town.

And after those five years,
it was time to call in

a little backup
in the form of four new faces

that would one day be known
as the Danger Force,

which is just a good name
for a thing.

I mean, whoever came up
with that is smart.

Come on, Danger Force.
That's awesome.

- We're calling ourselves...

all: Danger Force.

- Let's go.

- Hi, I'm Terrence
and I am Miles.

My power is teleportation,

but I don't really
got it down yet.

- My name is Havan
and I play Chapa.

My superpower is electricity
from my hands and body,

but I'm--I can't aim.

- I'm Luca, and I play Bose.

Bose has telekinesis,

so he can, like,
lift stuff with his mind.

- My name is Dana,
and I play Mika.

- Who are you?

- I'm the smart one.
- [gasps]

- Awkward.

- So far...
- They're really cool.

- Yeah, they're good.
They're got great energy

- They're good.
They're very...

- Smart, and they got
a lot of, like, weird quirks.

- Good comic timing and...
- Yeah.

- I don't worry
about anything ever.

Ugh!

- Yeah, they're fun.
Like they're already kind of

sinking into place, you know?

- Yeah.
- Is that the right term,

sinking into place?
- Something like that.

- I feel like that's something
that people say.

- I sink into place.
- I sink--I've sank

into this chair.

- I grew up watching this,
and now I'm here.

I mean, the first time
I stepped in the man cave

I was like, "This is crazy."

Like, it's kind of cool to see
a different side of not just

Captain Man and Kid Danger
but also Cooper and Jace.

They're different from
their characters, obviously,

so it's great working with
all the original people

that I grew up watching.

- It's like being welcomed
into a new family almost,

'cause they're just
so welcoming.

They're like, "Hi, we're going
to have a great time."

- And it's, like,
crazy sitting on the set

joking with Jace Norman and...
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.

- Coop-Coop.
- Coop-Coop, yeah.

- Coop-Coop.
- That's awesome.

I'ma steal that.

- I did it.
- You did it.

- In between takes,
we'll goof off.

[laughter]

- Oh.
- Sorry.

[laughs]

- Sorry I'm late.
I couldn't find my hoodie.

[laughter]

- I know I'm guessing for...

- It's all right, Terrence.
You'll get the hang

of it eventually.
Jace did.

- I'm on the path to greatness.

- And let's--then let's?
What does that mean?

- Or maybe not.

- And while it was great
to make some new friends,

the reality
that "Henry Danger"

was coming to an end
started to sink in.

- It's kinder of a weird
feeling.

I mean, everyone's wrapping up
this five-year thing,

and it's been, like,
an insane, like,

12-hour days shooting.

- We know it's ending now,
and, like, the storylines

are clearly, like,
coming to a close

but we're still kind of doing
the same,

like, comfortable routine
we've done every day.

But it's fun, and, like,
it's nice to know that--

where the story is going.

- Roll cameras mark

- This day in particular
I remember being

very difficult to get through.

- Right now we are shooting
the breakup scene

for Captain Man and Kid Danger.

- You get to be my sidekick,
and then when I retire,

you take over
as the new Captain Man.

- No, no, no, I don't want to
be Captain Man, okay?

I will never want
to be Captain Man.

- It's kind of emotional
for both of them not only just

'cause it was
their first big fight

but it's kind of the end.
We're reaching the end.

- What are you doing?
- Quitting.

- It's just crazy to see
the dynamics

that we've seen
for so many years

sort of switch a little bit,
and, you know,

it can be a little bit
uncomfortable at times,

but it's super interesting

and I've been having a lot
of fun watching them create it.

- Hey, everyone.

I'm Henry Hart,
and I used to be Kid Danger.

- And that was not the only
goodbye we had that day.

- I'm gonna go get
this mask off...

- That's a good time.
- One last time.

- Oh, hey, guess what,
everybody.

A series wrap to the mask
and outfit of Kid Danger.

[cheers and applause]

- I'm going to take off my mask
for the last time.

They basically glue
this rubber thing to my face.

Once you're in that mode
and you're all done up,

like, when you're in it,
it fits you perfectly...

Then I guess I'll choose
some gum in and fight scum.

You feel like
a superhero for sure.

- I definitely felt like
a hero.

With my sidekick next to me,
we were blowing bubbles

and causing trouble
for six amazing years.

And it feels pretty good.

It feels like a responsibility,

a weight off me
is--it's--it's hard to explain.

- Yeah, you got that, right.
It's impossible to explain.

- When you're in the studio,
you're shooting it,

and you're having fun
shooting it,

but then when you see somebody
who's connected to the show

that you've never met before,

it's, like,
the most magical thing.

- The mask represents a hero

who in turn represents
Kid Danger,

who in turn represents
Jace Norman.

- Because it's, like, wow,
like,

you're really doing something
that this person loves.

- Jace had been wearing
that mask

since he was 13 years old.

Gotta be a crazy feeling
taking the thing off

for the very last time.

- And that's what
makes it worth it.

All right.

- Wipes?
- Right here.

- All right. Can we cut--can we
cut the cameras now?

- I guess it was around then
that we all realized

that goodbye
wasn't that far away.

- I mean, I've been
with these kids since 2013

is when we filmed
the pilot in December.

And Jace is, like,
taller than me now

and he was really short when
we started working together.

- Mom, we're right
in the middle of some--

- I'm not interrupting.
- Okay, thanks.

- I just have a question
about your underwear.

- Mom!

- I'm sad
is what I'm trying to say.

I don't want it to go.

- I feel like we've known
for quite a while

to, like, sort of soak in

what is going to be
the last of certain things.

- Mom!

Mom, I'm not okay.

- Piper, we're trying
to study here.

- I'm talking to my mother.

- I really do have, like,
my second family here.

- We can take care
of ourselves.

I'm Kid Danger's daddy.

- It's kind of a bittersweet
in a way.

I mean, you know,
I've been doing this for my--

for five years,
so to be able to

kind of explore other
avenues in my life, like,

I'm really looking forward
to that,

but also at the same time,

there's this family on--
on set

that I've kind of
grown up with.

I think it's going
to feel good.

I think it's going to feel
good when it's, like,

wrap up the show.

Like, it was such a great run,
and, like,

such an awesome show, and it's
touched so many people.

And so it's just, like,
really been

super awesome to be part of.

- Chapter three,
the final goodbye.

Eventually, the time
came for us all to sit down

and read a new "Henry Danger"
script together

for the very last time.

- Good morning, good morning,
good morning.

Yay.

- Wrapping it all up,
if you will.

- Yep, yep.
- Look at this room, everybody.

- There's some closure.
There's some new beginnings.

We're in the man cave.
Kid Danger, Charlotte,

and Piper are still
in the middle of the man cave

waiting
for Jasper to come back.

- Okay,
the most important thing

we have to do is stop Drex.

- Can't be done. Next.

- Actually, it can be done.

- Nah, I just fought him.
Lost bad, so next.

- The writers did a really
great job

of coming up with a story,

and they--and they actually
incorporate a lot of stuff

that you and I wanted to see.
- Totally.

- And Jace I met with
the producers and the writers.

We pitched, you know,
a lot of very specific

ideas that we wanted to see
in the ending.

So a lot of what you'll see,
stuff that--

- Came from the original pitch
that we had.

- These--these two right here.

Stop looking at me.

- Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss,
kiss, kiss.

- Miss Shapen
and I are just friends.

[laughter]

- [indistinct] again.

Back in the man cave,
Kid Danger puts his phone away.

- Ahh, it's his favorite spot
in SwellView.

- Oh, that's why he wants
to put a statue up there.

- Yes.
- And we fade out.

End of series.

- End of series. Wow.

It was a real privilege, like,

watching you guys grow up
and being there for that

and--and being tasked with--
- I'm honestly just...

- Just the honor of being able
to be, like, the set adult.

- Chapa?
- Hello? You can't own a stump.

Nature is for everyone.

- It wraps up the show nicely

with everyone kind of
going in their own paths.

- Yeah, yeah, do your part.

Let's keep lasering and get
Captain Man out of this amber.

- This is taking too long.
It's hammer time.

- I feel good about the way
I--I wrap up my story,

and it's--it's bittersweet,
but it's kind of nice.

I mean,
it's kind of--feels--

there's a--there's a certain
amount of we did it,

like,
accomplishment.

A lot of people are sad,
and there is--

there is a sadness to it,
but it also it's like,

"Wow, we really did this,

and we really lit this up,
and, like, it really--

- You feel good about it?
- I feel good about it.

It's like, wow.
- Would you--would you say

it feels good?

Hey, where--where
are you going?

- I'm leaving.

- After we finished filming
that final episode it was time

to wrap out all the actors,

and that's when things got
real emotional.

- Well, we're getting to be
about that time.

of my soul,

and "Henry Danger" will always
be a part of my identity.

and I'm just glad
I could be a part of it.

so that's exciting.

We got a new show.

- We have on our super suits,
obviously.

- We'll get there.

The Dangerverse has gotten
a whole lot bigger,

and our heroes have been busy
kicking butt

and powering up ever since.

[together]
Yeah!

- Oh, and Henry, yeah,
he did come back.

- Henry Hart located.

- And we're going to need him,
because our biggest adventures

are still ahead of us.

Gonna have to call my pal
to come help us out.

Don't worry.
He always answers my calls.

- I mean, Cooper just kept
calling and calling, so yeah,

I had to pick up eventually.

- What? I only called you,
like, seven times.

That's not even that much.

- So Jace is back,
and it's amazing.

It's like he never left.

- Having Jace back on set

is one of the most fun things
that's happened in a while.

It was super funny.
He makes us laugh like crazy.

And seeing him in Cooper back
together, it was just amazing.

- It's cool to work with him,
because, like,

everyone's welcome to try
something new with his line

or just, like,
the way he delivers it.

- It's really fun having Jace
back on set.

Not only just, you know,
seeing him and Cooper have fun

but making jokes and, you know,
laughing all the time,

not getting any work done.

[laughs]

- All right.
- Oh, my God.

- Give him in S.
- Oh.

Dang it. I did it again.
- [laughs]

- It's nice to see
that I left Cooper

in good hands
with the Danger Force.

- My guy.

- Hey, is Bose still driving?
