The time in the darkness seemed to
go on and on. It felt... pleasurable.

We would sit there, Holger and I.

And it felt like the lumber
all around us had just been cut.

The best part was
when the oceans winds blew inland.

There was a quiet scraping outside.

You could sense the branches
flailing away outside.

How the wind whistled
between the tree trunks.

As long as we sat still
and stared into the darkness.
