Moonlit beaches and bloodthirsty leaches

await you at our glamorous
midnight beach party,

for vampires only.

For this challenge, you
must design and create

an original look based on our
Nosferatu Beach Party theme

and model your designs
in a music video style

lip-sync performance
here on the main stage.

We want to see the theme
interpreted through your drag.

So feel free to make it horrifying, campy,

gory, or glamorous, but
make sure it fits the theme

and that it also fits who
you are as a drag monster.

And the lip-sync
performance is also a duet,

so your show is going to
have to be choreographed

and executed along
with another competitor.

But we'll get to that later.

For now, we have
another surprise for you.

As you know, Saint
competed in and won

our Halloween Resurrection special,

which is what allowed her to return

and compete again this season.

While she undisputedly
won the competition,

it seems she didn't close
the door to hell hard enough

and another competitor has slithered back

through the doors and
into the competition.

We feel this competitor's
time on season two

was cut too short and
they proved in Resurrection

that they more than deserve
a second chance at the crown.

So I am concerned about Merrie.

I felt for her because
I could tell immediately

that she was very much locked in her head.

And as a seasoned
performer, that really stuns me.

So she's in Brooklyn.

She has this, like, legendary status,

and I feel like when you're
in that kind of environment,

where you're in your comfort zone,

you can kind of get
away with a lot of shit.

But coming here, she's competing

with other powerful
monsters and she's stripped

of all that status. Right.

And I think that got into her head.

Part of her charm is that she fumbles

and she has fun with it.

I feel like here she's
not bringing that out.

Like tonight during the performance.

I felt like
her and Koco got up there

and it wasn't the space they expected.

Like, she had a mean look
on our face the whole time.

You could see it.

It was written all over her
face and you know what?

We'll bring it up tonight in judgment.

Let's talk about Zavaleta for a minute

because she literally lifted
herself up out of the ground

and into what I consider
like a top position

in this episode.

I wouldn't be surprised if some people

just completely wrote her
off in the last challenge.

at her with new eyes
because she was ferocious

and fabulous and deadly.

I am concerned if she
has the level of costuming

and clothing- The polish.

To me, it kind of felt
like you were going

for more like a rollerblading look.

The movement was
super chaotic and you guys

were kind of like working
against each other in a way.

I think that you're
fire, you're fierce.

I do agree, though.

I think that the fit fell flat,

but I think it could have been executed

maybe with just a little more like,

I'm going to say pizazz.

Like a fabric that's gonna
reflect light in a way,

because right now it
just comes off a little dull.

I think Astrud

because have you seen the look?

I know what you're capable of.

You're coming off of
a win and to be shady,

it was like you were dressed
to go to the thrift store.

It was put together in a
very haphazard sort of way.

You were such an
impressive performer last week,

so I think you came in very
underwhelming this week.

I went out of my way, I feel like,

to try and make a
statement by doing something

a little bit simpler,
but I'm sorry that that

didn't come across.

And maybe it was a combination, also,

of your pairing because
Sigourney was so together,

so by comparison, standing next to her,

any shortcomings were amplified.

fucking proud of yourself this week.

You literally lifted
yourself from six feet under

right into one of the best performances

I think the look is a little lackluster,

but you had the reveal
and these Nosfera-toenails

are fucking everything for me.

Like I was really happy with you today.

All of the work paid off

and you delivered the lip-sync perfectly.

The characterization of the Nosferatu

who was the shy guy at the beach party.

You were the creepiest, ghouliest,

like gooniest vampire at
the party and it was so fun.

and this is a whole new iteration of you.

So you gave me the

just deliciousness.

It was beautiful.

And I think as an actor,

I really appreciated the
character that you put on.

You were like the most in character,

and I feel like everyone was quite sexual,

and for me, like, you
were the most playful.

And to me, that screams
like the ultimate sex.

So that's why I was so drawn to you.

We're going to talk to Koco.

You were kind of giving me this like

hot vampire waiting for her vamp daddy

on the pier to just whisk her away.

Perfect.

Do you and your partner
have some sort of history

because I was kind of picking up a vibe

not to throw her under the bus,

but Merrie kind of panicked a little bit

and felt as though she
had to amp up her role

to make sure that everything
panned out smoothly.

act like a team on stage.

I think that Merrie
kind of upstaged you.

doing all these cool moves,

but you were like behind her.

You're competing on a world stage

for $100,000 prize.

It is not time to let
somebody upstage you.

Let's move on to HoSo.

You gave me the
lifeguard who's waiting

for someone to drown so
you can suck their blood.

One bite at a time.

So to me, your outfit is like Rizzo

meets Baywatch meets a nun.

And it's perfect.

When you were slapping each other,

I kind of wanted you to
like slap a little harder.

I don't know if that's
like the little devil in me

that's coming out and
it's like hit her harder.

She got me pretty good.
I wanted to see that.

HoSo, you were so
adorable for this challenge.

And it was reveal after reveal.

The way that your
makeup kind of translates

to this challenge really works, too, so-

I think I would have been better off

without the choreography, too.

want and find the camera

this is how one arrives.
