But if you're causing a
ruckus while traveling,

A woman who tried
to board her flight

Without permission goes
on a curse filled rant.

But reports from passengers and

The woman caused a commotion

And was denied
access to her flight.

That's when she made
a run for the plane

And was knocked to the ground.

As a flight attendant tries
to rectify the situation.

The man comes
increasingly agitated.

seem to have had enough

Of the man's incessant ranting.

better be in that seat.

Police coming right now and
I'm staying in that seat.

You take me off this plane,

Your ass is going
to federal court.

- All right, we're going to
have to deplane.

Everybody, deplane.

- [agitated passenger] everybody
off the plane--

- [flight attendant] (over
speaker) ladies and gentlemen,

Unfortunately everyone must
deplane the plane at this time.

and boarding pass.

need to deplane

So authorities can safely
handle the situation.

- [passenger] I'm going
to miss my connection.

- [robert] as
passengers deplane,

Police arrive with a
wheelchair as backup.

(laughs quickly)

- [robert] the man is handcuffed

And escorted off
in a wheelchair,

As the plane was
delayed for 45 minutes.

However, the man
was not arrested.

- We trust airline
pilots with our lives.

Every time we fly,

We put our faith in the
hands of complete strangers,

Which makes this next story
all the more disturbing.

In July, 2019,

This pilot walked into

Minneapolis st. Paul
international,

Ready to commandeer his
commercial flight to san diego.

After making it through
a standard checkpoint,

He realizes a random secondary

Check has been set up that day.

Telling the tsa officer he
isn't ready to go through yet,

He strolls away.

The officer is suspicious
of the pilot's behavior

And calls dispatch to track him.

Footage shows the
pilot ducking into

This men's room for
just 27 seconds.

Before the searching officers
can locate the pilot,

He reappears back at the
checkpoint to get screened.

He reportedly tells an
air marshal he'd gone

To the crew room to
retrieve a forgotten ipad.

The pilot continues to
the next checkpoint,

And gets on the plane.

Officials quickly review
surveillance footage

From at least 15
different cameras,

And see that the pilot didn't

Enter the crew
room like he said.

An air marshal discovers
a bottle of vodka

He believes the pilot dropped
in the restroom trash.

Police board the
aircraft believing

That the pilot may
be intoxicated,

And they promptly remove him
from the first officer's chair.

(tense music)

The pilot was arrested
after forensics

Determined his blood
alcohol level was likely

Between 0.04 and 0.08 while
seated in the cockpit.

Experts say even a 0.05
is enough to seriously

Impair a person's
driving capabilities.

He was also required to
complete alcohol treatment,

Submit to random testing,

And attend return to work
meetings with his employer.

(plane engine roaring)

your plane ticket,

You become partners
with the airline.

You follow their rules,

And they'll get you
where you want to go.

But you should know those rules

Before you get on the aircraft.

After boarding her delta flight,

One passenger was asked
to remove her hat,

Which displayed the f-word.

She refused, and
the flight's captain

Came to rectify the situation.

To remove a passenger who's
attire creates an unreasonable

Risk of offense or annoyance
to other passengers.

But once she stopped recording,

It's unclear whether
the woman was

Allowed to fly to
her destination.

On the way from

But to a kid, those things
look like a hell of a ride.

At atlanta's hartsfield
jackson international airport,

This two year old ambles past

A spirit airlines
check in counter.

Employees fail to see
the little trespasser

As he climbs onto their
moving conveyor belt.

His mother shows staffers
where her child was

When he got swept
away by the machine.

The toddler desperately tries to

Crawl back out of a ct scanner,

But the oncoming luggage is
too much for him to tackle.

(tense music)

All the moving parts
and heavy luggage

Make this an extremely
dangerous place for a child.

One of the scanners picks
up the child as an anomaly,

And sends him to a tsa room

Where bags are
manually searched.

(tense music)

In the baggage room,

Employees spot the little
one and rush to his rescue.

The boy is whisked
away to a holding room,

And to the safety of an
officer with a body cam.

- [officer] the mother just
arrived, she's here.

- [officer] yeah, have a
seat right here.

(child crying)

- [officer] have a seat.

- [officer] what happened?

- [officer] what happened?

(child crying loudly)

responders arrive soon after,

And treat the boy's
hand immediately.

Those responders and
all the airport heroes

Behind the scenes prevented
a tragedy that day.
