Adam Bercovici
discovered a direct connection

between Lee Harvey Oswald and
the Cuban government

in the months before the
assassination

of President Kennedy.

- Fidel Castro says that Oswald
stormed into the embassy,

demanded the visa, and when it
was refused to him,

headed out saying, "I'm going to
kill Kennedy for this."

This is incredible.

narrator: In Mexico City, the
team tracked down

an eyewitness who saw Oswald
with Cuban officials

only eight weeks before the
president's murder.

narrator: Searching for deeper
ties to the Cubans,

the team discovered a
period of one month in 1963

with no record of Oswald's
whereabouts.

- Are you seeing what I'm
seeing?

- I'm seeing a whole month where
we cannot account

for Lee Harvey Oswald.

narrator: During that dark
period,

documents revealed a mysterious
CIA operation,

code name JMMOVE, located near
New Orleans.

Oswald lived only 15
minutes away.

- My hunch is, that facility was
in support of some training

activity here in Louisiana.

And I think, whatever that
training was,

we're gonna
find a connection with Oswald.

narrator: If Bob's theory is
right,

the team may prove once and for
all

that Lee Harvey Oswald had help

in his mission to murder JFK.

November 22, 1963.

Lee Harvey Oswald opens fire in
Dealey Plaza,

forever changing
American history.

Unanswered questions linger,

breeding countless conspiracy
theories.

Many believe Russia, Cuba, or
even the CIA

supported Oswald in
his mission.

In 2017, the final documents
from the JFK assassination

are scheduled for release.

More than 2 million files have
already been declassified.

No one has analyzed them until
now.

A CIA veteran is on the trail
of the most

notorious assassin in
U.S. history.

Bob Baer and his team are on
the ground in central Louisiana

to search for physical evidence
of a 1960s-era

covert training ground.

Earlier in the investigation,

they discovered a
declassified document

suggesting
that Oswald trained alongside

Cuban militants before
murdering JFK.

- All right, we've got the
testimony of Robert Tanenbaum.

He is the deputy chief council

for the House Select Committee
on Assassinations.

That's the follow-up
investigation to JFK

to the Warren Commission.

- "We had information of Oswald
being involved in Louisiana with

"anti-Castro individuals,

"and various soldier-of-fortune
types

who were contracted
employees of the CIA."

- He's telling us in an official
testimony

about anti-Castro
Cubans training in Louisiana,

the same Cubans we know Oswald
was in the mix with.

narrator: In 1959, Fidel Castro
rises to power.

Immediately, America begins a
secret war against Cuba,

battling Communism 90 miles
from its shores.

The CIA covertly recruits Cuban
exiles

and trains them in secret

to overthrow their former
leader.

In 1961, President Kennedy
orders these men

to invade the Bay of Pigs...

[loud explosions]

But then withdraws
air support during the battle.

Hundreds are killed and more
than 1,000 taken prisoner.

In the aftermath, many Cuban
exiles turn on Kennedy.

- My new working theory is that
Oswald may have trained here

with a group of Cuban
militants,

anti-Castro fighters who had
developed a hatred

for John F. Kennedy.

If true, I believe these men may
have gone on

to assist his
mission to murder the president.

What we're looking for here is
an off-the-grid

CIA training base.

Does this sound far-fetched,

the CIA would bring a training
team up here?

- Not at all.
It's remote.

The only people that can
navigate these areas

are local people.

narrator: Joining the team is
swamp cartographer

Blake Jackson.

Blake's family has lived in the
basin for three generations,

and his grandfather witnessed
mysterious military activity

here in the early 1960s.

- And this is what we need you
for, your expertise.

You know this place like the
back of your hand,

so if you were gonna come in
temporarily

and set up a base,
where would you do it?

- The obvious answer for me is
high ground.

A lot of times these banks will
erode and can expose

things that have been buried for
a couple years, you know.

When I say "a couple years,"
100 years even.

So if I was going to look for a
training camp,

I would start off with looking
at the eroded areas

of that high ground.

- We are out here looking for a
guerilla-style training ground,

something isolated deep in a
remote area

where the sound of
gunfire won't draw attention.

In covert actions like this, it
was very fast and loose.

These type of operations are
called black ops.

narrator: The U.S. Central
Intelligence Agency

has a long history of
recruiting foreign fighters

to help battle enemies abroad.

[gunshot]

Though the CIA funds these
black operations,

they often run them from afar
with little oversight,

a risk the agency is willing to
take

to distance themselves from
politically volatile conflicts.

- When it comes to black ops,
during my 21 years in the CIA,

I've seen almost all of them go
sideways.

The best example of this is
Osama bin Laden.

In the 1980s, the U.S. helped
Afghan fighters

battle the Soviet Union.

After that war ended,

we left the Afghans to their
own devices.

Some of them went rogue,
and they turned on us.

The result was bin Laden
leading the attack on 9/11.

narrator: Blake leads Bob and
Adam into the swamp

to search for evidence of these
black ops training grounds

where Oswald and Cuban
militants may have been

only months before the
president's murder.

- My family has been here for
three generations,

and in the old days

where it wasn't a common place
to come.

It's so far away from everything
else.

You can go four or five days
without seeing another person.

I remember my grandfather
telling my father,

you know, seeing boats coming in
and out that were unmarked.

People back here, you know,
are quiet and tight-lipped.

So when you hear rumors from
your family,

that's about as far
as it's gonna go.

- Is that dry land over there?

- That's all swamp.
- That's swamp.

- So you look here, there's a
little bit of land now.

Next year, that will be
under water.

- So evidence of any crime or
evidence of anybody being here,

it's a natural occurrence that
it would get covered up

after a while?

- That's right.
- Yeah, yeah, it's perfect.

- If I were training people and
I didn't want to do it on a U.S.

military base, this is where I'd
come.

- Yeah.

- The CIA was training
militants who would eventually

be fighting in Cuba.

So training in the swamps of
Louisiana makes sense.

It's similar terrain.

It's also the perfect place to
run

military exercises in secret.

If Oswald was in the middle of
this activity,

it's possible
that many of the skills he used

to pull off the assassination

were learned right here in this
swamp.

- The best places to start,
I would imagine,

are on the edge of the
bank where it's eroding.

This little hole here, this is
that spot right there,

and I believe we might have an
advantage

in kind of exposing
some of those--

those different levels of
sediment

and being able to see whatever
you guys are looking for.

Hey, we got a nice-looking
location here, high ground.

I think we're gonna put some
sonar out in the water

and see what we got.

After our initial assessment,
I'm absolutely convinced

that this area could have
served

as a
covert training ground.

But now we need the hard
evidence to prove it.

It's called a side scan sonar.

sound waves

to create to-the-millimeter
accurate images

of the swamp floor.

An aluminum tow fish torpedo

delivering high-resolution
images to a console on board.

- All of this here is all
vegetations.

- There's an alligator in the
water.

- You can definitely see it.

but it all appears natural
so far.

That's an actual object that's
manmade.

The men he was training with
here with could be

the accomplices we're looking

Likely what the guerrillas were
training with was AK-47s

- Been down there a while,
hasn't it?

It's exactly what we were
looking for.

Everything we found is
consistent with our hypothesis.

JMMOVE was a training program
for Cuban exiles

in the remote area of the bayou.

The training, the black period
in his time in Louisiana,

in New Orleans,
my gut tells me Oswald

was right in the middle
of this.

But JMMOVE is just one link in
the chain.

JMMOVE places Oswald with
foreign accomplices

who were getting military
training from the CIA.

This could be huge.

No one's ever looked at it
before.

To really understand this
program,

we have to cast a wider net.

- What's the hub of Cuban exile
activity in the 1960s?

It's Miami.
- Yeah, Miami, exactly.

- So I'm gonna narrow the
search,

"JMMOVE, Miami," see what we
come up with.

"On 28 February, 1961, the
following agents from JMMOVE

"arrived at JMWAVE...

Carlos Hernandez, Frank
Bernardine, Benito Clark."

It's a transfer of personnel.

- They're finished with their
training.

They move them to JMWAVE.

- Do you think this is some kind
of parent operation?

I mean, what is it?

- I don't know.
That's the whole purpose of a

cryptonym,
is to confuse people.

But, I mean, what else can we
find on JMWAVE?

- Well, if they're transferring
men,

there's gonna be money involved.

There's gonna be payroll.

All right, here we go.
This is a memo.

"To director from JMWAVE,

"please deposit $300,000 bank"--

it's redacted--
"account 1st National Miami."

- I mean, look at this amount of
money.

$300,000 in the early '60s was a
lot of money.

- Incredible amount of money.

- And the other thing you've got
to understand here is,

they're not arguing for a
transfer of money.

They're just saying, "We need
the money now; move it."

What this tells me is the guys
in the bayou in Louisiana,

they're taking orders.

The guys in Miami are giving the
orders.

The paper trail on this tells
me that

JMWAVE was running the
entire JMMOVE operation.

They're in charge of the money.

If we want to get to the bottom
of Oswald's connection

to these Cuban militants,

we need to talk to the people
who are running

the whole show.

JMWAVE is the key to this whole
operation.

If we can determine exactly
what JMWAVE was,

we might be able to uncover the
accomplices

Oswald was working with.

What it comes down to is,

in the eight weeks before
Oswald kills Kennedy,

he's meeting with Cubans at
their embassy in Mexico City,

and he's associated with Cuban
militants in New Orleans.

So what I want to do is split up

and you guys take a look at the
JMWAVE.

What is JMWAVE?

And I want to go look up some
old contacts.

Based on everything we've seen,
my suspicion is

that Oswald was
working with a network

tied to
JMWAVE here in Miami.

The CIA created JMWAVE and
funded it,

but it took on a life of its
own; all covert operations do.

Once you give money and weapons
to Cuban exiles,

there's no guarantee they're
gonna follow your orders.

If Oswald was the fruit of the
branch,

we're looking for the root of
the tree,

and I'll bet you it's here.

My suspicion is that Oswald
fell in with a group of these

Cuban militants, who had plans
of their own.

And that plan was to murder the
president of the United States.

narrator: Four weeks into their
investigation of Lee Harvey

Oswald, Bob Baer and his team
are working on a bold theory.

Newly declassified documents
reveal a large-scale

mysterious CIA operation known
as JMWAVE.

The team suspects that a group
of Cuban exiles associated

with the operation may have
helped Oswald plan the murder

of President John F. Kennedy.

Bob has tracked down Marshall
Golnick,

a former CIA contractor
with inside information,

who's willing to talk on camera
for the first time.

- I'm here reconstructing what
it was like in the '60s,

and specifically a CIA operation
called JMWAVE.

Put me back in that time.

- Well, the CIA was running
Cuban exile assets,

and they would sail up Cuban
rivers,

and they would damage the Cuban
infrastructure,

buildings, roads, bridges.

Anything that they can destroy,
they would do that.

It was ridiculous.

- So it was an insurgency.
- Yes.

- And it was an insurgency run
out of these waters.

- Absolutely here.

This area here was, in effect,
kind of a launching point.

Cuban exiles were dropped off by
bus right here in front.

- Wait, right in front of this
restaurant?

- Right in front of this
restaurant.

And the CIA gave them machine
guns and bazookas

and gunboats
and things like that,

and all the tourists just looked
the other way, laughed, waved.

- And how many miles is it to
Cuba?

- 90.

- So you could stop,
get off your boat

after doing a raid on Cuba
and have a beer.

- Oh, absolutely.

- Was this illegal?

I mean, we were running a war
from the continental

United States against a country,
Cuba,

we were not formally at war
with.

- It was extra-legal.

It wasn't quite illegal, and it
wasn't legal.

But that was changed April 17,
1961.

Bay of Pigs, as you know, was a
terrible failure.

The Cuban exiles blamed John F.
Kennedy directly

for the disaster that happened
at the Bay of Pigs,

because he did not
commit to support them.

The Cuban exiles felt that JFK
abandoned them.

- Well, he did in a sense.

- Absolutely.

- So I can imagine all these
Cubans, Bay of Pigs,

they're furious, they got money,
they got weapons,

and they're going out pursuing
their own agendas right here.

- Sometimes you can be eaten by
your own monster

that you created.

- According to Marshall,

JMWAVE was a large-scale
military operation

training Cuban militants on
American soil.

With so many weapons
and such little oversight,

that's exactly the type of
explosive environment

where Oswald could have met the
accomplices he needed

to help him with the
assassination.

Take a look at Oswald.

He's in and around this group.

They're armed, bitter,

ready to do violence.

- Oswald was, in a scientific
term,

a chemical agent used to
accelerate the explosion

about to happen amongst the
Cuban exile community.

You just let it go, and you
don't have to do a thing.

And I don't think that we as a
nation

was quite prepared for
what was about to happen.

- Oswald was in a mix that was
gonna end up

in violence one
way or another.

- It had to happen.

Oswald represented what the
exile community seemed to want.

- To murder Kennedy.

- Yes.

- The deeper we get into this
investigation,

the clearer it is to me that
Oswald

was gravitating toward violent
Cuban groups.

The question is, who are the
most violent groups?

- To my knowledge, the fringe
groups.

Alpha 66, Omega 7.

There were many.

- Did they actually have bases
down here?

- Yes.

But if you really want to see
something, go out on this road,

and you will see where many of
the bases were,

and they were hidden
in a stealthy way

that nobody was the wiser.

- Okay, I'm gonna send my guys
down there.

to investigate the military
facility

If they've got a structure like

there's got to be more around

- We've got multiple buildings

- Is this a barracks?

You couldn't see any of this
from the road.

- Our information tells us that
this is a serious place.

Weapons and men were stored and
trained at this location.

- Yeah, wow, this is extensive.

- Well, what gets me going on
this is that this is

consistent with what we've seen
in Louisiana and here,

which are these self-contained
bases operating here in hiding.

When we're looking at a
criminal,

we have to look at the
environment

that he was operating in.

And this sends out warning
bells to me

that this guy was mixed
up in some very serious stuff.

The environment that Oswald
was involved in,

it was a toxic environment.

Doesn't remind me of a lone
wolf.

It reminds me of a wolf pack.

narrator: After combing through
over 2 million

declassified documents
and chasing down leads,

Bob and Adam reunite in their
Miami war room

to take stock of their
investigation.

- We've got a lot of new
evidence from the field.

And here's where we are so far.

We started out in Mexico City
where a declassified CIA

document reported that Oswald
visited the Cuban embassy

eight weeks before the
assassination.

We uncovered an eyewitness who
places Oswald in the company

of high-ranking Cuban
officials.

- Following that new lead,

we tracked Oswald's movements
to New Orleans.

They're measuring for
ammunition.

[machine beeps]
- We got a positive detection.

- The trail of evidence suggest
that Oswald got swept up

in a covert operation that was
arming and training Cuban

exiles to be used as assets in
a secret war against the Cuba.

[gunshot]

But I believe these assets had
ideas on their own.

Angry that Kennedy abandoned
them during the Bay of Pigs,

they were secretly plotting his
murder,

and Oswald was shaping up
to be their triggerman.

If Oswald hooked up with one of
these groups,

it was Alpha 66;
Marshall raised it.

- Yeah.

narrator: In the early 1960s,
the CIA armed and militarized

dozens of Cuban exile groups
training them

to attack Cuba and overthrow
the Castro regime.

During the Bay of Pigs
invasion,

more than 1,400 of these
fighters

were ordered to attack Cuba.

During the battle, President
Kennedy withdrew air support,

dooming the mission and
resulting

in hundreds of deaths.

In the aftermath,
part of Alpha 66,

one of the most radical and
violent groups, went rogue.

According to the House Select
Committee on Assassinations,

Alpha 66 proclaimed JFK a
traitor

and vowed to avenge the
perceived betrayal

by any means necessary.

- A group like Alpha 66 is the
perfect group

for Oswald to work
with to achieve his own goals.

Alpha 66 is violent and angry
with Kennedy

after the Bay of Pigs.

Oswald is a pronounced Marxist
who praised Communist ideals.

I believe he wants Kennedy dead

because of his stance against
Cuba.

Our working theory is that these
two worked together

to achieve a common goal.

Alpha 66,
Oswald kept doing stuff

to get their attention.

- It makes sense, because we see
this pattern that goes on and on

with him where he's looking for
validation,

but all along the way,
he's rejected.

- He gets rejected by the
Russians,

the Cubans sort of
brush him off,

but then he comes around to
Alpha 66, and he's,

"I'm gonna show you what I can
do."

- Exactly.
- And then Alpha 66,

"Yeah, show us."

- What a great asset to have,
because he's--

he's pliable, you know?

He'll do what you tell him to
do.

- We need to look into Alpha 66
and see who these guys were.

- Yeah.

- Let's see what we got.

- All right, this is from the

House Select Committee on
Assassinations.

"Alpha 66 became one of the most
active

"of the anti-Castro exile
groups.

"All the major exile
organizations

"were backing
Alpha 66's efforts.

"The man behind all of Alpha
66's strategy

was Maurice Bishop."

So now we have a name,
Maurice Bishop.

- Let's see if there's any
decent evidence

that Oswald met with
Bishop,

because that would suggest that
there was planning at the top.

Antonio Veciana, to the House
Select Committee.

- "The Committee's interest in
the relationship between

"Antonio Veciana and Maurice
Bishop is of course predicated

"on Veciana's
contention that he saw Bishop

"with Lee Harvey Oswald in
Dallas

"a few months before the
assassination

of John F. Kennedy."

Holy [bleep].

- Here's a group that we've
determined

that's capable and willing and
motivated to kill the president.

We have a man who did kill the
president, and

now we have a
witness that puts

Lee Harvey Oswald within the
inner circle of Alpha 66.

There's your co-conspirator
right there.

He had on-the-ground assistance
in Dallas.

- Do we have any corroboration
on this at all?

- Let me see if we come up with
anything else.

- Any other reports of Oswald
with Cuban radicals?

- This is from the Warren
Commission.

It's the testimony of Silvia
Odio.

"In late September 1963,

"three men came
to her apartment in Dallas

"to solicit funds for JURE,

"an anti-Castro organization.

"Two of the men appeared to be
Cubans.

"The third man, an American,
was introduced

to Mrs. Odio as Leon Oswald."

- To my apartment in Dallas.

The American was introduced as
Leon Oswald.

One of them said his name was
Leopoldo.

He said that, "We wanted you to
meet this American

who was very much interested in
the Cuban cause."

He said he had been a marine.

He repeated several times he
was an expert shotman

and he was terrific.

I think either that night or
the night afterwards,

Leopoldo called me on the
phone.

He said, "Well you know, Leon
Oswald, he's kind of local.

"He's been telling us that the
Cubans should have assassinated

"President Kennedy right after
the Bay of Pigs,

"and they didn't have any guts
to do it.

It is so easy to do it."

When Oswald came on television,

immediately I realized that
there was

an assassination idea
or plot.

- "She was certain the American
introduced to her as Leon Oswald

was Lee Harvey Oswald."

- It's explosive.
I mean, where is the FBI?

I mean, why didn't they have
this group penetrated in Dallas?

Why didn't they know about it?

Because the fact is,
they missed it.

- Yeah.

- Silvia Odio is the most
important

eyewitness we've found.

Her testimony places Oswald in
the company of violent,

radical Cubans in Dallas.

narrator: The Warren Commission
refuted

Silvia Odio's testimony
claiming Oswald

could not have been in Dallas
at the time of their meeting.

15 years later, the House
Select Committee

on Assassinations, a review of
the JFK investigation,

declared Odio was
a credible source

and that the
timeline was inconclusive.

This conclusion did not change
the official record.

- Everything I've seen suggests
that the Warren Commission did

what they could to maintain the
narrative

that Oswald acted entirely
alone.

The key witness to the JFK case
was staring them in the face,

and for some reason, they
disregarded her testimony.

Now we're gonna look where
they never did.

We're getting very close to the
truth.

are in Dallas, Texas, to search
for evidence

of accomplices to Lee Harvey
Oswald.

Newly declassified CIA
documents

reveal that Oswald may have had
ties

to a violent Cuban fringe group
known as Alpha 66.

An eyewitness named Silvia Odio

offered further testimony
solidifying this connection.

"The American was introduced as
Leon Oswald.

"He told us we don't have any
guts,

"because President Kennedy
should have been assassinated

right after the Bay of Pigs."

- It's explosive.
I mean, where is the FBI?

Why didn't they know about it?

narrator: Odio puts Oswald with
two Cuban radicals

only eight weeks before the
assassination

of President Kennedy.

- Silvia Odio described the two
men with Oswald

as Cuban radicals who were
interested in killing Kennedy.

There's no proof that these
men were Alpha 66,

but my gut
tells me they were.

My experience tells me it's only
a matter of time

before we find Alpha 66 here
with Oswald in Dallas.

What we know for certain is,

Oswald found his way to a group
of Cuban exiles, accomplices.

What I'm really interested in,

is there anything out there that
takes these known associates

and puts them in Dallas leading
up to the assassination

of the president and afterwards?

What we need to know now is the
timeline in Dallas.

I mean, what do we have
from the Warren Commission?

- On October 3, 1963, Oswald
crossed into Texas.

March 1963 he purchases the
Carcano rifle by mail,

the same rifle he will
eventually use

to assassinate President
Kennedy.

- And look.

Here, a month later,
he's making an attempt

on Edwin Walker with
the same rifle.

I mean, come on.
This is huge.

This guy was a political figure,
ran for governor of Texas.

Looking at the timeline of
Oswald's period in Dallas,

there is one event that really
stands out,

and that's the attempted
assassination

Walker was a right-wing,

anti-communist extremist, who
called on the U.S. military to,

"Liquidate the
communist scourge

that has descended
upon the island of Cuba."

- The problem is communistic in
effect,

out and out communistic in
effect.

narrator: In April of 1963,
7 1/2 months before

Kennedy's murder, a gunman
attempts to assassinate Walker

at his home in Dallas.

The general survives unscathed.

The case remains unsolved until
after JFK's murder

when Marina Oswald testifies to
the Warren Commission

that her husband was behind the
attempt on Walker's life.

- Unbelievably, the Warren
Commission never looked into

the Walker case.

I believe they intentionally
ignored that investigation,

because it could have brought
to light

new evidence
pointing to his accomplices.

I want to drill down.

Anything associated with the
Walker attempt

is of high interest.

- It's the testimony of Marina
Oswald

from the Warren Commission.

"Following his unsuccessful
attack on Walker,

"Oswald returned home.

"He had left a note for his wife
telling her what to do

"in case
he was apprehended,

"as well as
his notebook and the pictures

of himself holding the rifle."

- Edwin Walker, this guy was a
Major General.

And you have Oswald taking a
shot at him,

and that's all we have?

- You know, one of the things
that was an issue at the time

was that this was a local case
with the local homicide

detectives handling it.

- The local police, what do they
have on it?

- That's a big case.

There's gonna be files,
there's gonna be reports.

It's gonna be in their
archives.

- Well, that's what we've got to
get.

narrator: If Oswald was working
with Alpha 66 in Dallas,

they may have aided his attempt
to murder General Walker.

Dallas police files could bring
to light new evidence

in the assassination
of President John F. Kennedy.

- In Dallas, Bob and Adam visit
the Municipal Archive

to dig into the original police
files

from the attempted
assassination

of General Edwin Walker,

another murder attempt by Lee
Harvey Oswald

less than a year before
Kennedy's death.

Newly declassified documents
suggest

that Oswald may have had ties

to a violent Cuban fringe
group known as Alpha 66.

The team now searches for any
further evidence

linking Oswald to these
potential accomplices.

- This is the police reports on
the attempt on Walker.

narrator: On the evening of
April 10, 1963,

General Edwin Walker is
sitting in his study

at his home
in suburban Dallas.

A gunman opens fire from an
alley

on the west side of the
property.

The bullet narrowly misses
Walker's head.

- I mean, look at this.
This is a political act.

General Walker is a
conservative...

- Right.
- Anti-Cuban.

He basically says, "We have to
invade Cuba now."

Oswald takes a shot at General
Walker.

- Mm-hmm.
- Point is,

he can go to whatever group
he wants and said,

"I have put myself at risk,"
and this is verifiable.

It's plausible that the Walker
attempt

was a proving ground for
Oswald.

He could say, "Look what I've
done.

Look what I'm willing to do."

And his accomplices would
recognize that dedication.

Look at this supplementary
offense report,

police department.

- "This officer contacted Kirk
Coleman.

"There's a white male.

"He stated he was in the back
room and heard a noise.

"He thought it was a blowout.

"The boy who was with him,
Ronald Andries,

"said it was a gunshot.

"Kirk stated that he then ran
out, climbed the back fence

"and saw a man getting into a
'49 or a '50 Ford.

"It was light green or light
blue, and it took off.

"This was on the parking lot of
the church

"next to General Walker's house.

"Also, on further down the
parking lot was another car

"with an unknown make or model,
and a man was in it.

"He had the dome light on, and
Kirk could see him bend over the

"front as if he was putting
something

in the back floorboard."

Oswald didn't drive.

- No.
So whose car was that?

- Exactly.

- One thing we know for sure,
Oswald couldn't drive.

Two cars at the scene.

It means that multiple people
were there with him.

What these records are telling
us is

that this is organized political
violence

possibly with other people
involved.

- You have to make the
reasonable assumption

that he had a getaway driver.
that somebody's helping him.

That person has to be an
accessory.

- There's no doubt in my mind
Oswald had accomplices

in the months before he killed
Kennedy.

Silvia Odio testified that she
met with Oswald

and two Cuban
men in her house.

And now it looks like he could
have been working

with those
same men to kill Walker.

The Warren Commission always
said Oswald was a lone wolf.

The evidence says otherwise.

All this detail, none of it's in
the FBI report.

Why didn't the FBI go back to
these witnesses?

- If you don't want the answer
to a question,

don't ask the question.

- Exactly, don't ask it, and
that's what the FBI didn't do.

They didn't ask the question.

What we need to do is get to
Dealey Plaza,

look at this the days before

and the moments after for any
traces of accessories.

We need to turn our attention
to the scene of the crime.

We need to find out if he had
help

on November 22, 1963.

This is evidence like we've
never seen before.

Wherever he was going,
it's over at this point.
