this detective showed up.

Started asking me questions
about how drunk I was

and how I started the whole thing.

Made it clear that it was
my word against theirs.

He pretended to be sincere,

I'd get discharged or arrested
for assaulting an officer.

That detective was
right about one thing.

of a Black man over two cops.

and it allows you to isolate the DNA

who had diagnosed mental disabilities.

Taggert lived in a group
home and worked part-time

bagging groceries.

Blakely claimed he resisted arrest

on a public nuisance charge,

which is why he had to get rough.

How rough?

Well, I called the group
home to talk to Taggert

and try and find out.

Turns out that the beating
that Blakely gave him

put him into a coma.

And that's not in the report?
